Spectators: 32 (Terracing: 25, Seating: 7, VIP seats: 0) The sun was shining, the grass was green and the audience cheered when Raul Dias got the match started through his kick off. With a little luck, SC Pomares's Eduardo Magalhães got control of the ball when Carlos Marques tried to sneak it across the goal line. Fernando Guerreiro fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 9th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Alexandre Pereira having to interfere. Raul Dias received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 11th minute. Eduardo Magalhães tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. 13 minutes into the game, Raul Alves was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Eido FC's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave SC Pomares the free kick. In the 14th minute, Armindo Paiva sent off a long shot on goal, but the shot was nowhere near the goal and Eido FC's Alexandre Pereira didn't even have to move. Carlos Marques sent away a hard shot on goal in the 18th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. When Heitor Aleixo came up free with the goalie in the 22nd minute, the SC Pomares fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Heitor Aleixo couldn't finish the play. Eduardo Magalhães was a little too slow when Raul Dias got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 25th minute. The score was now 1-0. 31 minutes into the match, Eido FC's goal looked a bit too open when Fernando Guerreiro came free, but Alexandre Pereira reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Heitor Aleixo received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 38th minute. Alexandre Pereira tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After a rather tough play, Eido FC's Oliveira Moniz got a free kick in the 40th minute. After 43 minutes of play, SC Pomares's Heitor Aleixo made it 1-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Alexandre Pereira was left in no man's land by his defense there! SC Pomares's Heitor Aleixo got a good chance for a goal in the 46th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. The first half was very even, with the score at 1-1 when the whistle went for half-time. The players welcomed the break and quickly retired to the dressing rooms.

The wind increased when Fernando Guerreiro made the kick off in the second half. Oliveira Moniz received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 51st minute. Eduardo Magalhães tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Eduardo Magalhães showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Carlos Marques, who was totally free with the ball in the 53rd minute. Catarino Matias's late challenge caught a Eido FC's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Catarino Matias helped the player get up and apologised. In the 54th minute, Catarino Matias hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 55th minute, Carlos Marques got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. 58 minutes into the game, Gustavo Coimbra was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Eido FC's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave SC Pomares the free kick. In the 57th minute, one of Eido FC:s players had the ball in front of the goal but got pushed and fell. The referee felt it was an obvious case and blew a penalty for Eido FC. In the 60th minute, SC Pomares got a penalty, and Armindo Paiva placed the ball unsaveable into goal, by the right post. After some careless play in the SC Pomares defense, Raul Dias kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Eduardo Magalhães. The SC Pomares fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Eduardo Magalhães should have stopped the shot. 72 minutes into the game, Fernando Guerreiro was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. SC Pomares's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Eido FC the free kick. Fernando Guerreiro hit a great freekick 72 minutes into the match.
