Seating: 7, VIP seats: 0) It was fairly windy and cold on the field when Gonçalo Viegas kicked off to start the match. When Daniel Luz fell near the penalty area in the 10th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Carnicais FC's protests and gave Daniel Luz a yellow card for diving instead. After a rather tough play, Carnicais FC's Daniel Luz got a free kick in the 10th minute. Gonçalo Viegas's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Jorge Campos read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 11th minute of play. Júlio Garcia received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 12th minute. Sandro Leiria tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Bernardo Alves recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 14th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. In the 18th minute of the match Pedro Pires sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Sandro Leiria skillfully saved the ball. In the 19th minute, Bento Paredes hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Carnicais FC's Jorge Campos played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Gonçalo Viegas in the 23rd minute of play. Jorge Campos made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Gonçalo Viegas in the 28th minute of play. Sandro Leiria made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Bernardo Alves in the 45th minute of play. Digueifel's Rodrigo Santarém got a good chance for a goal in the 46th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar.
The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Júlio Garcia to strike the kick off in the second half. Sandro Leiria made a fantastic save in the 52nd minute, when Bernardo Alves sent off a good shot on target. Jacinto Borba kicked well hit freekick during the 52nd minute of the match. An unexpectedly hard shot by Júlio Garcia in the 54th minute of play forced Digueifel's goalkeeper Sandro Leiria to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Jacinto Borba hit a great freekick 56 minutes into the match. In the 57th minute, Pedro Pires sent off a long shot on goal, but the shot was nowhere near the goal and Digueifel's Sandro Leiria didn't even have to move. In the 63rdth minute of the game Rodrigo Santarém who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Carnicais FC's Jorge Campos was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. After having played for 65 minutes, Júlio Garcia managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Carnicais FC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Júlio Garcia was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. After 66 played minutes Digueifel got a freekick which was hit by Bento Paredes. Digueifel's defense didn't have a chance, in the 71st minute, when Júlio Garcia scored to the left of an out of position Sandro Leiria, making the score, 0-1. If Gonçalo Viegas had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 79th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. After a rather tough play, Digueifel's Pedro Fontes got a free kick in the 89th minute. After having played for 95 minutes, Rodrigo Santarém managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Digueifel's supporters crossed their fingers, but Rodrigo Santarém was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. The referee blew the final whistle, and the away crowd roared, having watched Carnicais FC eke out a victory against a very well matched opponent.
