Spectators: 34 (Terracing: 26, Seating: 8, VIP seats: 0) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Miguel Fernandes started the match with the kick off. After a defensive mix-up in Cegonheira's zone, Joaquim Bessa stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Rogério Pinto came out of the goal and Joaquim Bessa tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Vítor Ramos sent away a hard shot on goal in the 9th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Miguel Fernandes fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 12th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Tomás Monteiro having to interfere. If Vítor Ramos had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 14th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After a rather tough play, Ferreirim's Joaquim Bessa got a free kick in the 15th minute. An unexpectedly hard shot by Vítor Ramos in the 17th minute of play forced Cegonheira's goalkeeper Rogério Pinto to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After 18 minutes, Fernando Almeida mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Ferreirim and the Cegonheira players grew even worse after the yellow card. After a rather tough play, Ferreirim's Fernando Almeida got a free kick in the 18th minute. Miguel Fernandes received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Tomás Monteiro came out and tried to block the shot, but Miguel Fernandes slotted it home off the left post making it 1-0 in the 19th minute. Vítor Ramos received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 24th minute. Rogério Pinto tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 27th minute Joaquim Bessa shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Rogério Pinto saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. An unexpectedly hard shot by Miguel Fernandes in the 31st minute of play forced Ferreirim's goalkeeper Tomás Monteiro to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 33rd minute of the match Cegonheira got a corner. Ferreirim's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Pedro Leiria ran over to the corner to take the kick. The corner led Cegonheira's Pedro Leiria to fire away a dangerous shot which Tomás Monteiro despite some difficulties managed to get hold on the ball. Vítor Ramos fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 36th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Rogério Pinto having to interfere. Rogério Pinto showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Joaquim Bessa, who was totally free with the ball in the 37th minute. In the 38th minute, Filipe Viana hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 45th minute, Joaquim Bessa left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Ferreirim fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 1-1. After the first half the score was level. The break gave the players a chance to catch their breath, whilst the managers went over the tactics with them again.

61 minutes into the match, Ferreirim's goal looked a bit too open when Miguel Fernandes came free, but Tomás Monteiro reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. José Freitas received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 65th minute. Tomás Monteiro tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 68th minute, Ferreirim's Vítor Ramos ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Rogério Pinto. Rogério Pinto yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 1-2. Cegonheira's José Freitas got a good chance for a goal in the 72nd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. A collision led to Ferreirim getting a freekick after 73 minutes play. Domingos Trindade hit a great ball. 74 minutes into the match, José Freitas notched a goal, 2-2, to the right of Ferreirim's Tomás Monteiro. Tomás Monteiro was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. In the 82nd minute José Freitas shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Tomás Monteiro saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Gustavo Viegas's late challenge caught a Cegonheira's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Gustavo Viegas helped the player get up and apologised. Gustavo Viegas hit a great freekick 83 minutes into the match. Cegonheira's supporters were highly satisfied with the result. They cheered their team of the pitch, having watched them win a very even match.
