An unexpectedly hard shot by Abel Faria in the 4th minute of play forced Fornos FC's goalkeeper David Assis to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. If Gaspar Pacheco had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 10th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 36thth minute of the game Abel Faria who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Fornos FC's David Assis was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. If Vicente Gueifão had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 38th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 42 minutes into the match, Fornos FC's goalkeeper David Assis had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Vicente Gueifão. David Assis made an important save on a dangerous shot by Vicente Gueifão in the 46th minute. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 0-1 lead.

SC Curalha walked away with a well-earned victory that was much celebrated by the crowd.
