Spectators: 33 (Terracing: 26, Seating: 7, VIP seats: 0) It was fairly windy and cold on the field when Jacinto Mota kicked off to start the match. The audience thought a goal was coming when Vítor Silva got free with David Assis in the 15th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Rui Torres hit a great freekick 17 minutes into the match. In the 26th minute, Gaspar Pacheco ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Diogo Delgado was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-1. Jacinto Mota fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 29th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without David Assis having to interfere. A collision led to Fornos FC getting a freekick after 30 minutes play. Emanuel Amorim hit a great ball. The supporters of Fornos FC booed when SC Cidadelha was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 32 match minutes in a wonderful position. Fernando Assis didn't get a good kick on the ball. Manuel Ramos received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 36th minute. Diogo Delgado tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. SC Cidadelha's Diogo Delgado played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Manuel Ramos in the 38th minute of play. A collision led to SC Cidadelha getting a freekick after 41 minutes play. Nuno Alves hit a great ball. Fornos FC's Manuel Ramos got a good chance for a goal in the 43rd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. 45 minutes into the match, Fornos FC's Gaspar Pacheco sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Diogo Delgado narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 0-1 lead.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Gaspar Pacheco to make the kick off. If Nuno Alves had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 51st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Jacinto Mota sent away a hard shot on goal in the 54th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Jacinto Mota fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 60th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without David Assis having to interfere. David Assis showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Jacinto Mota in the 63rd minute of the match. If Jacinto Mota had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 71st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Paulo Reis was probably a little too eager to shoot when he, in the 74th played minute, shot the ball from way out. The shot was hard, but the ball flew wide of the goal. SC Cidadelha were awarded a corner in the 78th minute after Fornos FC's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Paulo Reis took the corner. A nice corner shot did that Paulo Reis got away a dangerous shot. Despite this David Assis quite easily got ahold of the ball to make the save. 82 minutes into the match, Fornos FC's goal looked a bit too open when Jacinto Mota came free, but David Assis reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The audience was convinced that Jacinto Mota's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but David Assis was relentless in the 85th minute of the game. After some careless play in the Fornos FC defense, Jacinto Mota kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of David Assis. The Fornos FC fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that David Assis should have stopped the shot. After some fancy dribbling in the 91st minute, Manuel Ramos managed to get in a good position for a shot. Fornos FC's supporters rose to their feet, but Manuel Ramos was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Diogo Delgado breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Manuel Ramos's shot when he came free in front of the goal in the 94thth minute, Diogo Delgado skillfully showed off with a save to what seemed to be an obvious goal. Jeers came from both ends of the stadium when the final whistle went. Neither team had looked impressive and the draw seeemd a fair result.
