Sebastião Pinho ran back to his position shaking his head. André Resende was in exellent shape and made a fantastic save when he, in the 26th minute of the match, managed to get hold of the ball after a long shot from Gonçalo Vieira. 1-1 became the score in the 27th minute when Fernando Henriques elegantly shot the ball into goal just under the crossbar. In the 31st minute Ricardo Nascimento shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Nuno Lisboa saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. A collision led to Defesa FC getting a freekick after 32 minutes play. Tomás Assunção hit a great ball. Nuno Lisboa stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Ricardo Nascimento's shot from short distance in the 33rd minute. Paulo Martins sent away a hard shot on goal in the 35th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Paulo Martins succeeded to score despite a near miss that spronge from right pole into the goal to 1-3 in the 71st playminute. When Relvinha's Ricardo Nascimento in 75 game minutes managed to cut through with the ball in front of the goal, only having to shoot. Nuno Lisboa guarding the goal like a pit bull was extremely focused and managed to reach the ball just by the crossbar before it went in.
