Seating: 7, VIP seats: 0) Alfeicao's Carlos Macedo started the match with a crisp pass. The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. Carlos Macedo blasted a shot towards the goal in the 12th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Nuno Lisboa having to make a save. Defesa FC's Nuno Lisboa proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 14th minute of the match, managed to save Defesa FC from getting a goal against them. In the 17th minute Carlos Macedo shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Nuno Lisboa saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Amílcar Dantas showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Sebastião Pinho, who was totally free with the ball in the 19th minute. Amílcar Dantas took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Fernando Henriques, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. A collision led to Defesa FC getting a freekick after 23 minutes play. Sebastião Pinho hit a great ball. The audience was convinced that Carlos Macedo's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Nuno Lisboa was relentless in the 24th minute of the game. Sebastião Pinho received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 30th minute. Amílcar Dantas tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After a defensive mix-up in Defesa FC's zone, Carlos Macedo stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Nuno Lisboa came out of the goal and Carlos Macedo tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. The supporters of Defesa FC booed when Alfeicao was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 45 match minutes in a wonderful position. David Oliveira didn't get a good kick on the ball. Inácio Fonseca was probably a little too eager to shoot when he, in the 46th played minute, shot the ball from way out. The shot was hard, but the ball flew wide of the goal. After fighting hard for a draw in the first half, the players were able to take a much needed rest.
The wind increased when Fernando Henriques made the kick off in the second half. Fernando Henriques recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 55th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Sebastião Pinho in the 57thth minute had a little luck and got a chance for a shot in front of the goal. Without hesitation aimed to the right of Amílcar Dantas, who managed to lunge to the right direction and made a save. Fernando Henriques fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 62nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Amílcar Dantas having to interfere. Eduardo Leite might have been able to make a better finish in the 72nd minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Nuno Lisboa. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Eduardo Leite ran back to his position shaking his head. Carlos Macedo recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 73rd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Carlos Macedo sent away a hard shot on goal in the 75th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Sebastião Pinho in the 96th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Amílcar Dantas saved Alfeicao from getting behind. When the final whistle was heard the away supporters stood up and showed their joy. Defesa FC had managed to secure a win in what was a close match throughout.
