In the 10thth minute of the game Artur Coimbra who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Tarrado's Albertino Gaspar was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Artur Coimbra fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 20th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Albertino Gaspar having to interfere. Tiago Branco struck a weak shot in the 26th minute. Jorge Gonçalves didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Tarrado. After a rather tough play, SC Castelaria's Lucas Magalhães got a free kick in the 27th minute. Jorge Gonçalves was out of position in the 28 minute of play, and Tiago Branco capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Tiago Branco really showed his touch with that goal: 1-0. The supporters of Tarrado booed when SC Castelaria was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 30 match minutes in a wonderful position. Duarte Silva didn't get a good kick on the ball. Óscar Aguiar sent away a hard shot on goal in the 34th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Artur Coimbra in the 35th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Albertino Gaspar saved Tarrado from getting behind. With a little luck, SC Castelaria's Jorge Gonçalves got control of the ball when André Paiva tried to sneak it across the goal line. When João Cardoso fell near the penalty area in the 38th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored SC Castelaria's protests and gave João Cardoso a yellow card for diving instead. In the 38th match minute, SC Castelaria was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by João Cardoso to maneuver through the defense. André Paiva could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 42nd minute of the match, but Jorge Gonçalves made a huge save. If Óscar Aguiar had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 45th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Tiago Branco received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 47th minute. Jorge Gonçalves tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Tiago Branco was the one to do the kick off. Óscar Aguiar's shot when he came free in front of the goal in the 55thth minute, Albertino Gaspar skillfully showed off with a save to what seemed to be an obvious goal. Albertino Gaspar came out of the goal in the 57th minute to try and stop a shot by SC Castelaria's Óscar Aguiar. But to his dismay, Óscar Aguiar quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-1. Jorge Gonçalves didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Tiago Branco went, in the 65th minute, to the upper right corner, 2-1 was the resulting score. In the 73rdth minute of the game Tiago Branco who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but SC Castelaria's Jorge Gonçalves was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. In the 82nd minute, André Paiva left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Tarrado fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 3-1. Tarrado's Tiago Branco got a good chance for a goal in the 85th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. If André Paiva had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 87th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. An unexpectedly hard shot by Tiago Branco in the 89th minute of play forced SC Castelaria's goalkeeper Jorge Gonçalves to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Jorge Gonçalves showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from André Paiva in the 96th minute of the match. Tarrado's supporters were highly satisfied with the result. They cheered their team of the pitch, having watched them win a very even match.
