Spectators: 32 (Terracing: 25, Seating: 7, VIP seats: 0) The sun was shining, the grass was green and the audience cheered when Nuno Fontes got the match started through his kick off. António Matos came out of the goal in the 4th minute to try and stop a shot by Murriao's Diogo Henriques. But to his dismay, Diogo Henriques quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-1. In the 17th minute, Dornas's Nuno Fontes dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 1-1. The audience was convinced that Nuno Fontes's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Oliveira Monteiro was relentless in the 20th minute of the game. After a rather tough play, Murriao's Jaime Teixeira got a free kick in the 21st minute. Nuno Fontes received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 23rd minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. Ricardo Abreu kicked well hit freekick during the 44th minute of the match. Simão Fernandes could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 45th minute of the match, but Oliveira Monteiro made a huge save. Nuno Fontes sent away a hard shot on goal in the 46th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 2-1 at half-time.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Cláudio Rodrigues to make the kick off. Américo Gomes kicked well hit freekick during the 51st minute of the match. André Rocha was probably a little too eager to shoot when he, in the 52nd played minute, shot the ball from way out. The shot was hard, but the ball flew wide of the goal. If Cláudio Rodrigues had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 63rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. An unexpectedly hard shot by Simão Fernandes in the 66th minute of play forced Murriao's goalkeeper Oliveira Monteiro to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Oliveira Monteiro showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Nuno Fontes in the 76th minute of the match. 78 minutes into the game, Alexandre Ribeiro was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Murriao's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Dornas the free kick. The supporters of Dornas booed when Murriao was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 78 match minutes in a wonderful position. Alexandre Ribeiro didn't get a good kick on the ball. An unexpectedly hard shot by Cláudio Rodrigues in the 82nd minute of play forced Dornas's goalkeeper António Matos to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. If Simão Fernandes had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 83rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Oliveira Monteiro showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Armindo Coelho, who was totally free with the ball in the 86th minute. After 88 played minutes Cláudio Rodrigues rounded Dornas's defense and shot a beautiful shot into goal via left pole - 2-2. If Nuno Fontes had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 96th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Jeers came from both ends of the stadium when the final whistle went. Neither team had looked impressive and the draw seeemd a fair result.
