Spectators: 33 (Terracing: 26, Seating: 7, VIP seats: 0) When Joaquim Antunes came up free with the goalie in the 4th minute, the Cerdedo fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Joaquim Antunes couldn't finish the play. With a little luck, Cerdedo's Tiago Rodrigues got control of the ball when Albertino Vale tried to sneak it across the goal line. The audience thought a goal was coming when Albertino Vale got free with Tiago Rodrigues in the 10th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Cristóvão Coelho received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 11th minute. Tiago Rodrigues tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After 12 played minutes Cerdedo got a freekick which was hit by Daniel Trindade. Albertino Vale might have been able to make a better finish in the 13th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Tiago Rodrigues. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Albertino Vale ran back to his position shaking his head. With an all-out effort, Ameixeira's Tiago Rodrigues threw himself towards the right post 15 minutes into the match and grabbed hold of the ball from Cristóvão Coelho, which otherwise would have been placed in the net. After a rather tough play, Cerdedo's Raul Moniz got a free kick in the 17th minute. When the match had gone on for 18 minutes, Cristóvão Coelho took a quick shot and it went in 1-0 without a chance for Tiago Rodrigues to make any attempt to save it. In the 24th minute Joaquim Antunes shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Augusto Vaz saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Nuno Faro recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 27th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. 30 minutes into the match, Ameixeira's goal looked a bit too open when Joaquim Antunes came free, but Augusto Vaz reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Joaquim Antunes fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 31st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Augusto Vaz having to interfere. In the 34th minute, Nuno Faro got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. 37 minutes into the game, Cerdedo's Joaquim Antunes nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Augusto Vaz made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 1-1. Cerdedo's Tiago Rodrigues played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Cristóvão Coelho in the 43rd minute of play. The audience thought a goal was coming when Albertino Vale got free with Tiago Rodrigues in the 44th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Albertino Vale sent away a hard shot on goal in the 47th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. The score stood at 1-1 when the half time whistle went. Both sets of players seemed reasonably pleased with how the match was going.

The wind increased when Joaquim Antunes made the kick off in the second half. In the 52nd minute of the match, Joaquim Antunes tried to roll the ball into the goal by the right post, but Augusto Vaz saw his intentions and got control of the ball before it passed the line. Xavier Reis kicked well hit freekick during the 57th minute of the match. After some fancy dribbling in the 59th minute, Pedro Amorim managed to get in a good position for a shot. Cerdedo's supporters rose to their feet, but Pedro Amorim was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Augusto Vaz breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Nuno Faro's shot straight on target was not completely harmless. The ball had pretty good speed, but Augusto Vaz firmly grabbed it by the left post. After 65 played minutes Ameixeira got a freekick which was hit by Francisco Queirós. In the 68th minute, Joaquim Antunes got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. If Joaquim Antunes had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 72nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Albertino Vale received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 77th minute. Tiago Rodrigues tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. The Cerdedo fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Tiago Rodrigues should have stopped the shot. Tiago Rodrigues made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Albertino Vale in the 95th minute of play. Cerdedo's players left the field with heads hung low after losing a match that had been finely balanced throughout.
