If Manuel Lisboa had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 9th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Tiago Assis made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from André Vaz in the 10th minute of play. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Paulo Silva in the 17th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Tiago Assis saved Eucizia from getting behind. Rafael Brás hit a great freekick 19 minutes into the match. Paulo Silva struck a weak shot in the 22nd minute. Tiago Assis didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Sosa FC. After 23 minutes, Cristóvão Fonseca mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Eucizia and the Sosa FC players grew even worse after the yellow card. Cristóvão Fonseca kicked well hit freekick during the 23rd minute of the match. Tiago Assis showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Paulo Silva, who was totally free with the ball in the 24th minute. Cristóvão Fonseca hit a great freekick 27 minutes into the match. An unexpectedly hard shot by Paulo Silva in the 28th minute of play forced Eucizia's goalkeeper Tiago Assis to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 29 minutes into the match, Eucizia's goal looked a bit too open when André Vaz came free, but Tiago Assis reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 32nd minute Paulo Silva shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Tiago Assis saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 35 minutes into the game, Sosa FC's André Vaz nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Tiago Assis made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-1. The audience thought a goal was coming when Manuel Lisboa got free with Américo Setúbal in the 39th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. In the 41st minute, Eucizia's Filipe Miranda ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Américo Setúbal. Américo Setúbal yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 1-1. An unexpectedly hard shot by Filipe Miranda in the 46th minute of play forced Sosa FC's goalkeeper Américo Setúbal to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Paulo Silva to strike the kick off in the second half. During the 53rd minute of the match Cristóvão Fonseca completely mistimed his tackle and brought down his opponent. The referee gave Cristóvão Fonseca a yellow card, his second in the match, which meant he could no longer take part in the game. Pedro Guerreiro hit a great freekick 54 minutes into the match. After some fancy dribbling in the 62nd minute, Mariano Almeida managed to get in a good position for a shot. Sosa FC's supporters rose to their feet, but Mariano Almeida was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Tiago Assis breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. After a defensive mix-up in Sosa FC's zone, Manuel Lisboa stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Américo Setúbal came out of the goal and Manuel Lisboa tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. 66 minutes into the match, Sosa FC's goal looked a bit too open when Manuel Lisboa came free, but Américo Setúbal reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Américo Setúbal showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Manuel Lisboa, who was totally free with the ball in the 70th minute. The crowd rose to their feet as Sosa FC's Paulo Silva slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Tiago Assis. That made the score 1-2 after 75 minutes of play. In the 80th minute the ball was on its way in behind Sosa FC's goalkeeper Américo Setúbal, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Manuel Lisboa struck a weak shot in the 82nd minute. Américo Setúbal didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Eucizia. Tiago Assis took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Paulo Silva, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Paulo Silva recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 88th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Tiago Assis made an important save on a dangerous shot by André Vaz in the 90th minute.
