Jaime Jesus hit a great freekick 14 minutes into the match. 17 minutes into the match, Famalicao FC's goal looked a bit too open when Joaquim Santarém came free, but Albertino Fernandes reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Porca FC's Gustavo Bessa got a good chance for a goal in the 18th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Tomás Pinho was really disappointed when he shot the ball just outside the right post instead of scoring a goal in the 22nd minute. Famalicao FC's manager could be seen on the sidelines shaking his head and muttering to himself as his team had just wasted another chance. Jaime Jesus sent away a hard shot on goal in the 22nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. 54 minutes into the game, Joaquim Santarém recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Albertino Fernandes. Joaquim Santarém showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 0-1. Simão Antunes made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Jaime Jesus in the 59th minute of play. Tomás Pinho recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 59th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. After a defensive mix-up in Porca FC's zone, Tomás Pinho stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Simão Antunes came out of the goal and Tomás Pinho tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Simão Antunes made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Jaime Jesus in the 72nd minute of play. When Gustavo Bessa came up free with the goalie in the 74th minute, the Porca FC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Gustavo Bessa couldn't finish the play. In the 83rd minute, Tomás Pinho got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Porca FC's Simão Antunes played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Tomás Pinho in the 86th minute of play. A collision led to Porca FC getting a freekick after 86 minutes play. Joaquim Brás hit a great ball. Simão Antunes stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Jaime Jesus's shot from short distance in the 87th minute. The away crowd were delighted with the way their team had played and cheered loudly when the final whistle sounded. Porca FC walked away with the win, even though the match was close until the end.
