Seating: 7, VIP seats: 0) In the 5th minute António Paiva shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Lourenço Moreira saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. When Lúcio Monteiro fell near the penalty area in the 6th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Aveleira's protests and gave Lúcio Monteiro a yellow card for diving instead. After 6 played minutes Aveleira got a freekick which was hit by Lúcio Monteiro. Repolao FC's André Reis couldn't find anyone to pass the ball to, so he shot a long shot towards the goal in the 7th minute. The shot went wide which resulted in a goal kick for Aveleira. Repolao FC's Jorge Rodrigues got a good chance for a goal in the 14th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Lúcio Monteiro sent away a hard shot on goal in the 21st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. José Gaspar fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 23rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Pedro Santos having to interfere. António Paiva received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 26th minute. Lourenço Moreira tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Jorge Rodrigues fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 31st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Lourenço Moreira having to interfere. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by José Gaspar during the 34th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. After having played for 47 minutes, Fernando Sousa managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Aveleira's supporters crossed their fingers, but Fernando Sousa was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. After the first half Repolao FC were leading 0-1. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.
When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and José Gaspar made a kick off. Pedro Santos showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Fernando Sousa, who was totally free with the ball in the 53rd minute. Jorge Rodrigues received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 58th minute. Lourenço Moreira tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. An unexpectedly hard shot by Jorge Rodrigues in the 60th minute of play forced Aveleira's goalkeeper Lourenço Moreira to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 65 minutes into the match, Repolao FC's goal looked a bit too open when Fernando Sousa came free, but Pedro Santos reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Fernando Sousa in the 69th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Pedro Santos saved Repolao FC from getting behind. Nuno Pereira received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 88th minute. Lourenço Moreira tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. When the match had gone on for 97 minutes, Jorge Rodrigues took a quick shot and it went in 1-2 without a chance for Lourenço Moreira to make any attempt to save it. Repolao FC played a much better game than Aveleira and deserved their victory. The Aveleira players were clearly disappointed as they left the ground.
