Spectators: 32 (Terracing: 25, Seating: 7, VIP seats: 0) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Filipe Esteves started the match with the kick off. SC Covide's Luís Alves proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 2nd minute of the match, managed to save SC Covide from getting a goal against them. Emílio Castro sent away a hard shot on goal in the 4th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After a defensive mix-up in Labruje FC's zone, Emílio Castro stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Francisco Brito came out of the goal and Emílio Castro tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. After 9 minutes, Filipe Esteves mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the SC Covide and the Labruje FC players grew even worse after the yellow card. The supporters of Labruje FC booed when SC Covide was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 9 match minutes in a wonderful position. Filipe Esteves didn't get a good kick on the ball. Filipe Esteves sent away a hard shot on goal in the 13th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Nuno Bessa's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Luís Alves read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 16th minute of play. If Daniel Leite had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 17th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 19th match minute, SC Covide was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Manuel Pinho to maneuver through the defense. In the 21st minute, Emílio Castro ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Francisco Brito was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-1. In the 27th minute, Labruje FC's Daniel Leite dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 1-1. After having played for 35 minutes, Daniel Leite managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Labruje FC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Daniel Leite was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Nuno Bessa fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 37th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Luís Alves having to interfere. 38 minutes into the game, one of SC Covide:s players got tackled near the goal, and the referee blew for a penalty. The referee gave Labruje FC a penalty, 40 minutes into the game. The penalty shot was made by Armindo Moura, who made a well placed shot into the net to the right of SC Covide's Luís Alves. 2-1. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Emílio Castro in the 49th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Francisco Brito saved Labruje FC from getting behind. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 2-1.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Daniel Leite to strike the kick off in the second half. 54 minutes into the match, Labruje FC's goalkeeper Francisco Brito had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Emílio Castro. After 56 minutes, Lourenço Mota mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the SC Covide and the Labruje FC players grew even worse after the yellow card. After 56 minutes of play, the referee blew the whistle. It was a penalty for SC Covide! In the 58th minute there was a penalty for Labruje FC. Armindo Moura stepped forward and shot the ball to the right of a diving Luís Alves. 3-1. Filipe Esteves fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 61st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Francisco Brito having to interfere. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Manuel Pinho during the 63rd minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. In the 63rd match minute, SC Covide was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Manuel Pinho to maneuver through the defense. Luís Alves showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Daniel Leite, who was totally free with the ball in the 68th minute. In the 77th match minute, Labruje FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Armindo Moura to maneuver through the defense. Labruje FC's Francisco Brito proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 79th minute of the match, managed to save Labruje FC from getting a goal against them. 81 minutes into the match, Filipe Esteves dribbled the ball past the defender and swiftly kicked the ball to the left of Francisco Brito, 3-2. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Paulo Andrade during the 84th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. In the 87th minute, Daniel Leite ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Luís Alves was frozen by the shot and now it was 4-2. An unexpectedly hard shot by Daniel Leite in the 92nd minute of play forced SC Covide's goalkeeper Luís Alves to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 97 minutes into the match, SC Covide's goal looked a bit too open when Nuno Bessa came free, but Luís Alves reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Filipe Esteves recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 98th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Francisco Brito made an important save on a dangerous shot by Emílio Castro in the 101st minute. The crowd rose to their feet and cheered when the referee blew the final whistle. Labruje FC had won after a very even match.
