Seating: 7, VIP seats: 0) The mood of the audience was pleasant when Rodrigo Moreira made the kick off which started today's match. After a rather tough play, Mendo's Júlio Nascimento got a free kick in the 6th minute. After a rather tough play, Touloes's Fábio Cardoso got a free kick in the 10th minute. In the 12th minute of the match, Rodrigo Moreira tried to roll the ball into the goal by the right post, but Abel Pacheco saw his intentions and got control of the ball before it passed the line. Emanuel Paredes took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Luís Amaro, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Emanuel Paredes made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Cristiano Luz in the 21st minute of play. Luís Amaro sent away a hard shot on goal in the 22nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Cristiano Luz received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 23rd minute. Emanuel Paredes tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Emanuel Paredes came out of the goal in the 25th minute to try and stop a shot by Mendo's Luís Amaro. But to his dismay, Luís Amaro quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-1. After 29 minutes, Basílio Valente mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Touloes and the Mendo players grew even worse after the yellow card. Mendo's Augusto Almeida pulled a muscle in his back after 31 minutes and couldn't finish the game. 31 minutes into the game, Fábio Cardoso was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Touloes's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Mendo the free kick. After 32 played minutes Touloes got a freekick which was hit by Fábio Cardoso. Júlio Nascimento, 32 minutes into the match, dribbled the ball up the side of the field and decided to take a long shot at the goal. Unfortunately, the ball was poorly hit and landed closer to the corner than to the goal.
The wind increased when Cristiano Luz made the kick off in the second half. Jorge Ribeiro fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 51st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Abel Pacheco having to interfere. Abel Pacheco showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Américo Freitas in the 52nd minute of the match. After a defensive mix-up in Mendo's zone, Rodrigo Moreira stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Abel Pacheco came out of the goal and Rodrigo Moreira tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. In the 63rd minute the ball was on its way in behind Mendo's goalkeeper Abel Pacheco, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. In the 66th minute the ball was on its way in behind Touloes's goalkeeper Emanuel Paredes, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. After having played for 69 minutes, Cristiano Luz managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Mendo's supporters crossed their fingers, but Cristiano Luz was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. If Luís Amaro had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 70th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After a rather tough play, Mendo's Luís Amaro got a free kick in the 72nd minute. After having played for 73 minutes, Américo Freitas managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Touloes's supporters crossed their fingers, but Américo Freitas was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Américo Freitas in the 75th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Abel Pacheco prevented the ball from getting in the gole. 77 minutes into the match, Tiago Setúbal notched a goal, 1-2, to the right of Touloes's Emanuel Paredes. Emanuel Paredes was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Abel Pacheco took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Rodrigo Moreira, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. An unexpectedly hard shot by Rodrigo Moreira in the 89th minute of play forced Mendo's goalkeeper Abel Pacheco to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Cristiano Luz could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 91st minute of the match, but Emanuel Paredes made a huge save. Ricardo Araújo received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 93rd minute. Emanuel Paredes tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. When the final whistle was heard the away supporters stood up and showed their joy. Mendo had managed to secure a win in what was a close match throughout.
