Spectators: 32 (Terracing: 25, Seating: 7, VIP seats: 0) Pedro Neves started the match with the kick off in front of an excited audience. Júlio Pacheco stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Humberto Setúbal's shot from short distance in the 3rd minute. 5 minutes into the game, SC Lourinha's Raul Vieira nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Adelino Viana made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 1-0. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Ricardo Barros during the 8th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. A collision led to Coruche getting a freekick after 9 minutes play. Ricardo Barros hit a great ball. 13 minutes into the match, Pedro Neves had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Júlio Pacheco. SC Lourinha's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Pedro Neves was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 1-1. The supporters of Coruche booed when SC Lourinha was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 18 match minutes in a wonderful position. Joaquim Barros didn't get a good kick on the ball. After 22 minutes, Albertino Henriques mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the SC Lourinha and the Coruche players grew even worse after the yellow card. After 22 played minutes SC Lourinha got a freekick which was hit by Albertino Henriques. Inácio Castro was probably a little too eager to shoot when he, in the 23rd played minute, shot the ball from way out. The shot was hard, but the ball flew wide of the goal. 25 minutes into the game, Coruche's Humberto Setúbal nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Júlio Pacheco made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 1-2. Raul Vieira fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 31st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Adelino Viana having to interfere. Humberto Setúbal struck a weak shot in the 40th minute. Júlio Pacheco didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Coruche. David Maia recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 42nd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and David Maia made a kick off. Pedro Neves blasted a shot towards the goal in the 58th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Júlio Pacheco having to make a save. In the 61st minute, Pedro Neves fired away a shot on goal. He put a little to much spin on the ball and sent it just wide of the right post. With his leg Júlio Pacheco managed to avoid a goal in the 62ndth minute, when Coruche's Humberto Setúbal fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. 66 minutes into the match, SC Lourinha's goalkeeper Júlio Pacheco had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Humberto Setúbal. Humberto Setúbal sent away a hard shot on goal in the 68th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. If Pedro Neves had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 72nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Adelino Viana took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Raul Vieira, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Heitor Faro fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 80th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Adelino Viana having to interfere. Gonçalo Carvalho hit a great freekick 89 minutes into the match. After 90 played minutes, Coruche's Inácio Castro shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Júlio Pacheco came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in Coruche reached it. 94 minutes into the game, Raul Vieira cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 2-2. Adelino Viana was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Coruche were disappointed that they only managed a draw, even though they felt themselves to be the better team.
