Spectators: 34 (Terracing: 26, Seating: 8, VIP seats: 0) The sun was shining, the grass was green and the audience cheered when Cândido Neto got the match started through his kick off. Hugo Abreu's late challenge caught a Serraquim's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Hugo Abreu helped the player get up and apologised. Hugo Abreu kicked well hit freekick during the 10th minute of the match. In the 11th minute, Filipe Amaro fired away a killer shot towards the goal that, to the delight of Adolfo Resende, passed just outside the right post. Serraquim's Álvaro Pereira played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Cândido Neto in the 15th minute of play. Pedro Fonseca kicked well hit freekick during the 15th minute of the match. Cândido Neto fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 16th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Álvaro Pereira having to interfere. Jorge Viana sent away a hard shot on goal in the 24th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. When Filipe Amaro came up free with the goalie in the 26th minute, the Serraquim fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Filipe Amaro couldn't finish the play. In the 29th minute, Augusto Leite hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. The supporters of Serraquim booed when SC Remedios was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 32 match minutes in a wonderful position. Hugo Abreu didn't get a good kick on the ball. Serraquim's Lucas Moniz couldn't find anyone to pass the ball to, so he shot a long shot towards the goal in the 33rd minute. The shot went wide which resulted in a goal kick for SC Remedios. If David Sá had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 36th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Serraquim's Álvaro Pereira played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Cândido Neto in the 43rd minute of play. SC Remedios's David Sá got a good chance for a goal in the 46th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. After the first half the score was level. The break gave the players a chance to catch their breath, whilst the managers went over the tactics with them again.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Filipe Amaro was the one to do the kick off. SC Remedios's Cândido Neto got a good chance for a goal in the 53rd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. 54 minutes into the game, André Moniz was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Serraquim's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave SC Remedios the free kick. Alexandre Branco kicked well hit freekick during the 55th minute of the match. Augusto Leite, 56 minutes into the match, dribbled the ball up the side of the field and decided to take a long shot at the goal. Unfortunately, the ball was poorly hit and landed closer to the corner than to the goal. A collision led to Serraquim getting a freekick after 57 minutes play. Pedro Fonseca hit a great ball. After a defensive mix-up in SC Remedios's zone, Jorge Viana stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Adolfo Resende came out of the goal and Jorge Viana tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Filipe Amaro received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 90th minute. Adolfo Resende tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. A collision led to SC Remedios getting a freekick after 92 minutes play. Hugo Abreu hit a great ball. Serraquim's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Lucas Moniz in the 95th minute. The Serraquim fans' excitement grew in the 97th match minute when Serraquim's Filipe Amaro looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 1-0 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. Serraquim's fans were exulted and cheered after their team won in a match that could easily have gone the other way.
