The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 1-0 at half-time.

Basílio Andrade hit a great freekick 52 minutes into the match. In the 54th minute of the match Filipe Pires sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Oliveira Gomes skillfully saved the ball. In the 55th minute, Joaquim Cardoso got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Belinho's players left the field with heads hung low after losing a match that had been finely balanced throughout.
