Jaime Baptista could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 24th minute of the match, but Armindo Almeida made a huge save. A hard shot 25 in the game by Jaime Baptista from a close distance when the talented Armindo Almeida managed to make a qualified save. Lanhelas FC's players were relieved. The long shot by Ricardo Viana in the 28th minute really tested Armindo Almeida's skills. The ball was on its way into the goal to the left of him when he managed to stretch himself and save the shot and avoid a goal. 33 minutes into the match, SC Loule's goal looked a bit too open when Basílio Cruz came free, but Tomás Baptista reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Armindo Almeida took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Joaquim Teixeira, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. With a little luck, Lanhelas FC's Armindo Almeida got control of the ball when Jaime Baptista tried to sneak it across the goal line. Armindo Almeida was left in no man's land by his defense there! Nuno Guarda struck a weak shot in the 61st minute. Tomás Baptista didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Lanhelas FC. After having played for 62 minutes, Nuno Guarda managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Lanhelas FC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Nuno Guarda was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. The supporters of SC Loule booed when Lanhelas FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 65 match minutes in a wonderful position. Gonçalo Garcia didn't get a good kick on the ball. Joaquim Teixeira fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 66th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Armindo Almeida having to interfere. Joaquim Teixeira recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 68th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Basílio Cruz could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 74th minute of the match, but Tomás Baptista made a huge save. In the 85th minute Nuno Guarda shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Tomás Baptista saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Tomás Baptista made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Nuno Guarda in the 87th minute of play. Joel Queirós hit a great freekick 88 minutes into the match.
