The crowd was extremely unhappy with the home team's performance in the first half. They were losing 0-2.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Amadeu Lopes made a kick off. If Amadeu Lopes had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 53rd minute. Lever's supporters crossed their fingers, but Augusto Borba was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Bruno Viegas sent away a hard shot on goal in the 62nd minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Amadeu Lopes in the 68th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Jorge Soares saved Lever from getting behind. Lever's Jorge Soares played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Amadeu Lopes in the 69th minute of play. Filipe Neves charged in rather forcefully in the 70th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Filipe Neves the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Oliveira Simões made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Bruno Viegas in the 95th minute of play. Lever played a much better game than SC Lanhezes and deserved their victory. The SC Lanhezes players were clearly disappointed as they left the ground.
