Spectators: 33 (Terracing: 26, Seating: 7, VIP seats: 0) SC Lanhezes's Amadeu Lopes started the match with a crisp pass. The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. Lourenço Ribeiro received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 3rd minute. Oliveira Simões tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Amadeu Lopes sent away a hard shot on goal in the 8th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Ricardo Oliveira charged in rather forcefully in the 9th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Ricardo Oliveira the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. In the 9th match minute, Mascanho FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Ricardo Oliveira to maneuver through the defense. 13 minutes into the match, SC Lanhezes's goalkeeper Oliveira Simões had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Vasco Pinto. Oliveira Simões took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Lourenço Ribeiro, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Ricardo Oliveira was shown his second yellow card after 19 minutes, following a rather ugly tackle on opponent. That was the end of his participation in the match. Ricardo Oliveira kicked well hit freekick during the 20th minute of the match. Rodrigo Barros showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Amadeu Lopes, who was totally free with the ball in the 24th minute. After 29 played minutes Mascanho FC got a freekick which was hit by António Fernandes. 29 minutes into the match, SC Lanhezes's Fábio Alves broke free and took a long shot that unfortunately flew wide. A fine initiative that could have resulted in a goal. After 33 played minutes Mascanho FC got a freekick which was hit by Lourenço Ribeiro. Oliveira Simões made a fantastic save in the 38th minute, when Vasco Pinto sent off a good shot on target. After having played for 45 minutes, Miguel Fernandes managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. SC Lanhezes's supporters crossed their fingers, but Miguel Fernandes was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. In the 47th minute, Afonso Porto got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. After fighting hard for a draw in the first half, the players were able to take a much needed rest.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Vasco Pinto stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. When Amadeu Lopes came up free with the goalie in the 51st minute, the SC Lanhezes fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Amadeu Lopes couldn't finish the play. 55 minutes into the game, Miguel Fernandes was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. SC Lanhezes's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Mascanho FC the free kick. Afonso Porto fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 61st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Rodrigo Barros having to interfere. Amadeu Lopes received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 64th minute. Rodrigo Barros tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Amadeu Lopes sent away a hard shot on goal in the 68th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 77th minute of the match Fábio Alves shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Rodrigo Barros showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. Lourenço Ribeiro recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 80th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Afonso Porto struck a weak shot in the 93rd minute. Rodrigo Barros didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for SC Lanhezes. Vasco Pinto received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 95th minute. Oliveira Simões tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Both teams had looked equal from kick-off, and no-one was surprised when the match finally ended in a draw.
