Spectators: 33 (Terracing: 26, Seating: 7, VIP seats: 0) The sun was shining, the grass was green and the audience cheered when Lourenço Ribeiro got the match started through his kick off. Jorge Soares stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Lourenço Ribeiro's shot from short distance in the 6th minute. Jorge Soares took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Lourenço Ribeiro, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Vasco Pinto sent away a hard shot on goal in the 10th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Mascanho FC's Rodrigo Barros played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Augusto Borba in the 15th minute of play. Lever's Bruno Viegas got a good chance for a goal in the 18th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. 23 minutes into the game, Ricardo Oliveira was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Mascanho FC's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Lever the free kick. A collision led to Lever getting a freekick after 26 minutes play. Filipe Neves hit a great ball. Catarino Macedo was probably a little too eager to shoot when he, in the 27th played minute, shot the ball from way out. The shot was hard, but the ball flew wide of the goal. Rodrigo Barros showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Augusto Borba, who was totally free with the ball in the 31st minute. Jorge Soares made an important save on a dangerous shot by Vasco Pinto in the 34th minute. 36 minutes into the match, Lever's goal looked a bit too open when Lourenço Ribeiro came free, but Jorge Soares reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. With his leg Jorge Soares managed to avoid a goal in the 37thth minute, when Mascanho FC's Vasco Pinto fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. Lever's Jorge Soares played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Lourenço Ribeiro in the 44th minute of play. After a defensive mix-up in Lever's zone, Vasco Pinto stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Jorge Soares came out of the goal and Vasco Pinto tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Augusto Borba fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 47th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Rodrigo Barros having to interfere.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Bruno Viegas stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Jorge Soares made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Lourenço Ribeiro in the 61st minute of play. In the 63rd minute of the match Catarino Macedo shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Jorge Soares showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. Rodrigo Barros didn't succeed in stopping the ball in the 66th minute, which inside left pole to 0-1. If Augusto Borba had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 70th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 71st minute Bruno Viegas suffered a thigh injury and had to be helped off the field. In the 72nd minute, Mariano Neves hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. António Fernandes fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 82nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Jorge Soares having to interfere. Jorge Soares showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Lourenço Ribeiro in the 83rd minute of the match. The audience thought a goal was coming when Augusto Borba got free with Rodrigo Barros in the 85th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Jorge Soares took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Vasco Pinto, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. The referee blew the final whistle, and the away crowd roared, having watched Lever eke out a victory against a very well matched opponent.
