An unexpectedly hard shot by Marco Dantas in the 25th minute of play forced Quintinha FC's goalkeeper Álvaro Dantas to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The crowd rose to their feet as Marco Dantas kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Álvaro Dantas. That made the score 1-0 in the 28 minute of play. If Alexandre Neves had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 38th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Simão Branco might have been able to make a better finish in the 43rd minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Álvaro Dantas. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Marco Dantas fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 75th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Álvaro Dantas having to interfere. Álvaro Dantas made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Simão Branco in the 81st minute of play. Álvaro Dantas took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Marco Dantas, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 87 minutes into the game, Simão Branco cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 2-2. Álvaro Dantas was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. In the 91st minute, Alexandre Neves got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. In the 94th minute the ball was on its way in behind Quintinha FC's goalkeeper Álvaro Dantas, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Neither set of supporters seemed pleased with the draw, but both teams had played equally well today.
