The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. Alfredo Ferreira kicked well hit freekick during the 4th minute of the match. Emanuel Amaro stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Alexandre Neves's shot from short distance in the 5th minute. In the 10th minute, Basílio Sousa got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. If Alexandre Neves had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 12th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After a rather tough play, SC Seramena's Adolfo Luz got a free kick in the 14th minute. After recieving a nice pass, Quintinha FC's Américo Porto tried to score from far away in the 14th minute, but the ball went over the crossbar. In the 16th minute, Cristóvão Nunes left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The SC Seramena fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 1-1. Cristóvão Nunes fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 20th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Álvaro Dantas having to interfere. In the 25th minute Cristóvão Nunes shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Álvaro Dantas saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The audience was convinced that Cristóvão Nunes's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Álvaro Dantas was relentless in the 32nd minute of the game. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Eusébio Pacheco during the 34th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. After a rather tough play, Quintinha FC's Eusébio Pacheco got a free kick in the 34th minute. The score stood at 2-2 when the half time whistle went. Both sets of players seemed reasonably pleased with how the match was going.

The wind increased when Cristóvão Nunes made the kick off in the second half. 51 minutes into the game, Catarino Moreira cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 3-2. Emanuel Amaro was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. In the 57th match minute, Quintinha FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Catarino Moreira to maneuver through the defense. When Cristóvão Nunes came up free with the goalie in the 59th minute, the SC Seramena fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Cristóvão Nunes couldn't finish the play. Emanuel Amaro showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Alexandre Neves in the 67th minute of the match. Alexandre Neves received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 69th minute. Emanuel Amaro tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After some fancy dribbling in the 70th minute, Basílio Sousa managed to get in a good position for a shot. Quintinha FC's supporters rose to their feet, but Basílio Sousa was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Emanuel Amaro breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Basílio Sousa sent away a hard shot on goal in the 74th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Álvaro Dantas showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Cristóvão Nunes in the 77th minute of the match. Gil Monteiro fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 81st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Álvaro Dantas having to interfere. After 82 minutes, Catarino Moreira mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Quintinha FC and the SC Seramena players grew even worse after the yellow card. Emanuel Amaro was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. When Gil Monteiro came up free with the goalie in the 97th minute, the SC Seramena fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Gil Monteiro couldn't finish the play. For all the effort they put into the match, the SC Seramena players left disappointed. They had fought hard, but couldn't break down the home team's defense. The match ended in a win for Quintinha FC.
