Spectators: 33 (Terracing: 26, Seating: 7, VIP seats: 0) Gonçalo Figueiredo started the match with the kick off in front of an excited audience. Gonçalo Figueiredo fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 4th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Humberto Garcia having to interfere. After having played for 8 minutes, Humberto Fonseca managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. SC Montezinho's supporters crossed their fingers, but Humberto Fonseca was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Humberto Fonseca struck a weak shot in the 12th minute. Humberto Garcia didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for SC Montezinho. After some careless play in the SC Tornol defense, Gonçalo Figueiredo kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Humberto Garcia. The SC Tornol fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Humberto Garcia should have stopped the shot. If Humberto Fonseca had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 22nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Humberto Fonseca recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 24th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Humberto Garcia made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Gonçalo Figueiredo in the 26th minute of play. Gonçalo Figueiredo fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 29th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Humberto Garcia having to interfere. Humberto Garcia took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Gonçalo Figueiredo, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. SC Montezinho's Humberto Fonseca got a good chance for a goal in the 36th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. José Nuness short, quick shot in the 45thth minute got Manuel Maia to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. Humberto Fonseca sent away a hard shot on goal in the 47th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After the first half the score was level. The break gave the players a chance to catch their breath, whilst the managers went over the tactics with them again.

José Nunes received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 66th minute. Manuel Maia tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Gabriel Carvalho during the 71st minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. Gabriel Carvalho kicked well hit freekick during the 71st minute of the match. In the 73rdth minute of the game Gonçalo Figueiredo who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but SC Tornol's Humberto Garcia was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. The supporters of SC Montezinho booed when SC Tornol was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 77 match minutes in a wonderful position. Mário Moura didn't get a good kick on the ball. Humberto Garcia came out of the goal in the 79th minute to try and stop a shot by SC Montezinho's Vítor Maia. But to his dismay, Vítor Maia quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-2. José Nunes fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 87th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Manuel Maia having to interfere. When Fábio Lisboa came up free with the goalie in the 91st minute, the SC Tornol fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Fábio Lisboa couldn't finish the play. Humberto Fonseca received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 93rd minute. Humberto Garcia tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. The away crowd were delighted with the way their team had played and cheered loudly when the final whistle sounded. SC Montezinho walked away with the win, even though the match was close until the end.
