Spectators: 32 (Terracing: 25, Seating: 7, VIP seats: 0) The sun was shining, the grass was green and the audience cheered when Paulo Cunha got the match started through his kick off. Manuel Jesus received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 10th minute. Emílio Brito tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Paulo Cunha fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 11th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Emílio Brito having to interfere. In the 20th minute, Manuel Jesus hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After having played for 22 minutes, Cláudio Porto managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. SC Serreta's supporters crossed their fingers, but Cláudio Porto was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. When Paulo Cunha came up free with the goalie in the 26th minute, the Trogal fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Paulo Cunha couldn't finish the play. Fernando Pinho's late challenge caught a SC Serreta's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Fernando Pinho helped the player get up and apologised. Cláudio Porto recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 32nd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Cláudio Porto blasted a shot towards the goal in the 35th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Tiago Lima having to make a save. Manuel Jesus took the ball and in the 37 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Emílio Brito. Emílio Brito dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 1-0. Cláudio Porto sent away a hard shot on goal in the 41st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. If Eduardo Nascimento had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 45th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Cláudio Porto stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. In the 53rd minute, Cláudio Porto fired away a shot on goal. He put a little to much spin on the ball and sent it just wide of the right post. A collision led to Trogal getting a freekick after 61 minutes play. Pedro Gaspar hit a great ball. In the 63rd minute of the match Humberto Fernandes sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Tiago Lima skillfully saved the ball. In the 64th minute Manuel Jesus shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Emílio Brito saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Manuel Jesus fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 65th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Emílio Brito having to interfere. After 66 played minutes SC Serreta got a freekick which was hit by Amadeu Dantas. SC Serreta's Eduardo Nascimento got a good chance for a goal in the 69th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Tiago Lima made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Cláudio Porto in the 82nd minute of play. The referee blew his whistle, and the match came to a close. The players exchanged shirts and headed down the tunnel. The Trogal fans cheered their team off the field, for while SC Serreta had put up a good fight, they were unable to come out of the game with any points to show for their effort.
