Spectators: 33 (Terracing: 26, Seating: 7, VIP seats: 0) It was fairly windy and cold on the field when Ricardo Cruz kicked off to start the match. In the 5th minute Adolfo Ferreira shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Heitor Marques saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. When SC Lordosa's Ricardo Cruz in the 7th minute got a chance for a shot 7th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Patusca FC's goalie prevented a goal. When the match had gone on for 16 minutes, Filipe Carvalho put it in 1-0 from a short distance just to the right of Manuel Azevedo. After some careless play in the Patusca FC defense, Adolfo Ferreira kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Heitor Marques. The Patusca FC fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Heitor Marques should have stopped the shot. In the 24th minute, Miguel Neves hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Filipe Carvalho recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 27th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Carlos Soares during the 32nd minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. After 32 played minutes Patusca FC got a freekick which was hit by Carlos Soares. Heitor Marques stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Ricardo Cruz's shot from short distance in the 34th minute. If Carlos Soares had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 37th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 41st minute Ricardo Cruz shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Heitor Marques saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. With a little luck, SC Lordosa's Manuel Azevedo got control of the ball when Filipe Carvalho tried to sneak it across the goal line. Ricardo Cruz recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 44th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. A collision led to Patusca FC getting a freekick after 48 minutes play. Cristóvão Matos hit a great ball. After having played for 50 minutes, Adolfo Ferreira managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. SC Lordosa's supporters crossed their fingers, but Adolfo Ferreira was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. After fighting hard for a draw in the first half, the players were able to take a much needed rest.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Carlos Soares made a kick off. Heitor Marques showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Ricardo Cruz in the 58th minute of the match. When Patusca FC's Filipe Carvalho in the 60th minute got a chance for a shot 60th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye SC Lordosa's goalie prevented a goal. 62 minutes into the match, SC Lordosa's goal looked a bit too open when Filipe Carvalho came free, but Manuel Azevedo reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Filipe Carvalho sent away a hard shot on goal in the 63rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After 66 minutes, Eusébio Pereira mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the SC Lordosa and the Patusca FC players grew even worse after the yellow card. The supporters of Patusca FC booed when SC Lordosa was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 66 match minutes in a wonderful position. Eusébio Pereira didn't get a good kick on the ball. 67 minutes into the match, Patusca FC's Carlos Simões broke free and took a long shot that unfortunately flew wide. A fine initiative that could have resulted in a goal. An unexpectedly hard shot by Ricardo Cruz in the 70th minute of play forced Patusca FC's goalkeeper Heitor Marques to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After a rather tough play, Patusca FC's Adelino Cruz got a free kick in the 71st minute. When Adolfo Ferreira came up free with the goalie in the 78th minute, the SC Lordosa fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Adolfo Ferreira couldn't finish the play. 79 minutes into the match, SC Lordosa's Ricardo Cruz sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Heitor Marques narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Ricardo Cruz sent away a hard shot on goal in the 81st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Manuel Azevedo made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Carlos Soares in the 86th minute of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Carlos Soares in the 94th minute of play forced SC Lordosa's goalkeeper Manuel Azevedo to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Ricardo Cruz received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 97th minute. Heitor Marques tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. The second half was just like the first, even and exciting. The match ended in a draw.
