Spectators: 32 (Terracing: 25, Seating: 7, VIP seats: 0) Gil Carvalho started the match with the kick off in front of an excited audience. A collision led to Campia FC getting a freekick after 3 minutes play. Hugo Cardoso hit a great ball. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Gil Carvalho during the 6th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. Gil Carvalho hit a great freekick 6 minutes into the match. Sandro Esteves sent away a hard shot on goal in the 7th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Afonso Luz didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from André Castro went, in the 9th minute, to the upper right corner, 1-0 was the resulting score. After a rather tough play, Campia FC's Hugo Cardoso got a free kick in the 12th minute. SC Merceana's Cristóvão Reis shoveled away a really nice long shot in the 13th minute of play. The shot was stopped by Afonso Luz but with some difficulty. Afonso Luz made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Sandro Esteves in the 18th minute of play. Alberto Henriques made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from André Antunes in the 21st minute of play. After 22 minutes of play, Campia FC's André Antunes made it 1-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Alberto Henriques was left in no man's land by his defense there! In the 29th minute, Gil Carvalho ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Alberto Henriques was frozen by the shot and now it was 1-2. Hugo Cardoso charged in rather forcefully in the 36th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Hugo Cardoso the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. With a little luck, Campia FC's Afonso Luz got control of the ball when André Castro tried to sneak it across the goal line. André Antunes sent away a hard shot on goal in the 43rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. André Antunes fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 45th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Alberto Henriques having to interfere. In the 47th minute, Gil Carvalho got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 1-2 lead.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Sandro Esteves to make the kick off. With a little luck, SC Merceana's Alberto Henriques got control of the ball when André Antunes tried to sneak it across the goal line. With a couple of smart ball manuevers André Castro in the 57th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Afonso Luz saved Campia FC from getting behind. SC Merceana's Sandro Esteves got a good chance for a goal in the 63rd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. After having played for 67 minutes, Sandro Esteves managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. SC Merceana's supporters crossed their fingers, but Sandro Esteves was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. If Sandro Esteves had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 70th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Sandro Esteves in the 76th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Afonso Luz prevented the ball from getting in the gole. In the 76th minute, Humberto Azevedo hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After some careless play in the Campia FC defense, Sandro Esteves kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Afonso Luz. The Campia FC fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Afonso Luz should have stopped the shot. If Sandro Esteves had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 82nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Sandro Esteves fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 85th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Afonso Luz having to interfere. Hugo Cardoso recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 89th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. In the 90th minute, Ricardo Lisboa hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. SC Merceana's Alberto Henriques proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 92nd minute of the match, managed to save SC Merceana from getting a goal against them. The final whistle blew with the score still tied, and both teams left the pitch thinking about the missed chances that could have given their team the win.
