Sandro Cunha didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Caroceiras FC. After 21 played minutes Chorente got a freekick which was hit by Rui Silva. After 25 played minutes, Chorente's Rui Silva shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Inácio Silva came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in Chorente reached it. Inácio Fontes sent away a hard shot on goal in the 27th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Sandro Cunha showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Cândido Nascimento in the 29th minute of the match. Heitor Santarém fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 34th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Inácio Silva having to interfere. After some fancy dribbling in the 36th minute, Inácio Fontes managed to get in a good position for a shot. Chorente's supporters rose to their feet, but Inácio Fontes was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Inácio Silva breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Inácio Silva showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Inácio Fontes in the 41st minute of the match. In the 45th minute there was a penalty for Chorente. Rui Silva stepped forward and shot the ball to the right of a diving Inácio Silva. 0-1. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 0-1 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Cândido Nascimento couldn't finish the play. Caroceiras FC's Inácio Silva played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Inácio Fontes in the 78th minute of play. André Mota sent away a hard shot on goal in the 86th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. André Mota received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 96th minute. Inácio Silva tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. When the match was over Chorente could go home with a victory in their luggage, having controlled the game far better than Caroceiras FC throughout the match.
