Spectators: 32 (Terracing: 25, Seating: 7, VIP seats: 0) The field was rather wet after several days of rain when Adolfo Macedo took the kick off in the first half of the match. 9 minutes into the game, Delfim Moniz cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 1-0. Nuno Assunção was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Delfim Moniz received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 12th minute. Nuno Assunção tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Mariano Araújo hit a great freekick 17 minutes into the match. SC Grainho's Filipe Cardoso played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Delfim Freitas in the 18th minute of play. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Adolfo Macedo in the 19th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Nuno Assunção saved SC Poiares from getting behind. Diogo Torres fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 22nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Filipe Cardoso having to interfere. 25 minutes into the match, SC Poiares's Delfim Freitas sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Filipe Cardoso narrowly saved just below the crossbar. In the 32nd match minute, SC Poiares was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Nuno Pereira to maneuver through the defense. In the 34th minute, Adolfo Macedo got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Delfim Moniz fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 36th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Nuno Assunção having to interfere. If Adolfo Macedo had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 38th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Diogo Torres sent away a hard shot on goal in the 46th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Paulo Ribeiro hit a great freekick 47 minutes into the match. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Delfim Freitas stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Nuno Pereira's late challenge caught a SC Grainho's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Nuno Pereira helped the player get up and apologised. The supporters of SC Grainho booed when SC Poiares was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 56 match minutes in a wonderful position. Nuno Pereira didn't get a good kick on the ball. Manuel Rodrigues kicked well hit freekick during the 60th minute of the match. Mariano Araújo hit a great freekick 65 minutes into the match. Basílio Cruz received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 67th minute. Filipe Cardoso tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After 72 minutes of play, the referee blew the whistle. It was a penalty for SC Poiares! The referee gave SC Grainho a penalty, 74 minutes into the game. The penalty shot was made by Heitor Tavares, who made a well placed shot into the net to the right of SC Poiares's Nuno Assunção. 2-0. When Delfim Moniz came up free with the goalie in the 83rd minute, the SC Grainho fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Delfim Moniz couldn't finish the play. There was no doubt that SC Grainho were the better team. SC Grainho's players enjoyed the ovations of the crowd after the victory.
