Spectators: 32 (Terracing: 25, Seating: 7, VIP seats: 0) SC Poiares's Nuno Pereira started the match with a crisp pass. The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Nuno Pereira in the 5th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Fernando Paredes saved Segovia from getting behind. Delfim Freitas sent away a hard shot on goal in the 9th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Nuno Pereira in the 11th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Fernando Paredes prevented the ball from getting in the gole. After a defensive mix-up in Segovia's zone, Delfim Freitas stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Fernando Paredes came out of the goal and Delfim Freitas tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. After 24 played minutes SC Poiares got a freekick which was hit by Rogério Pedroso. Delfim Freitas took the ball and in the 33 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Fernando Paredes. Fernando Paredes dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-2. In the 37th minute, Rogério Pedroso hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. 41 minutes into the match, SC Poiares's goal looked a bit too open when Bernardo Pereira came free, but Nuno Assunção reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The Segovia players were disheartened as they walked off the pitch after the first half. SC Poiares were winning 0-2.

After a rather tough play, Segovia's Viriato Morais got a free kick in the 55th minute. Bernardo Pereira received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 58th minute. The tension between the SC Poiares and the Segovia players grew even worse after the yellow card. The supporters of Segovia booed when SC Poiares was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 80 match minutes in a wonderful position. Daniel Paredes didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 81st minute, Delfim Sá sent off a long shot on goal, but the shot was nowhere near the goal and SC Poiares's Nuno Assunção didn't even have to move. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Pedro Oliveira during the 96th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. The supporters of SC Poiares booed when Segovia was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 97 match minutes in a wonderful position. Pedro Oliveira didn't get a good kick on the ball. The referee blew the final whistle, and the away crowd roared, having watched SC Poiares eke out a victory against a very well matched opponent.
