Seating: 7, VIP seats: 0) The field was rather wet after several days of rain when Tomás Coimbra took the kick off in the first half of the match. In the 2nd minute, Eusébio Leite hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Jorge Coimbra kicked well hit freekick during the 3rd minute of the match. Maiorais FC's defense didn't have a chance, in the 6th minute, when Gil Araújo scored to the left of an out of position Álvaro Bessa, making the score, 1-0. Tomás Coimbra struck a weak shot in the 14th minute. Álvaro Bessa didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Aivados. With his leg Álvaro Bessa managed to avoid a goal in the 16thth minute, when Aivados's Gil Araújo fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. Gil Araújo had several of the Maiorais FC's defenders around him in the penalty area when he, after 16 minutes of play, received a pass and succeeded in some way to shoot a shot which went straight ahead into goal. This resulted in a 2-0 score and a disappointed Álvaro Bessa as he didn't even see the shot coming. João Tavares made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from André Moniz in the 23rd minute of play. The supporters of Aivados booed when Maiorais FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 26 match minutes in a wonderful position. André Moniz didn't get a good kick on the ball. 29 minutes into the match, Maiorais FC's Mário Cabral sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that João Tavares narrowly saved just below the crossbar. João Tavares made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Mário Cabral in the 31st minute of play. If André Moniz had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 33rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. With a couple of smart ball manuevers André Moniz in the 35th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg João Tavares saved Aivados from getting behind. Aivados's João Tavares played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by André Moniz in the 37th minute of play. In the 38th minute, Tomás Coimbra got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. The supporters of Aivados booed when Maiorais FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 39 match minutes in a wonderful position. Tomás Neto didn't get a good kick on the ball. After 40 played minutes Maiorais FC got a freekick which was hit by Jorge Nogueira. Álvaro Bessa took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Tomás Coimbra, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Tomás Coimbra received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 47th minute. Álvaro Bessa tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.
The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for André Moniz to strike the kick off in the second half. In the 55th minute Gil Araújo shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Álvaro Bessa saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Vasco Assis's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Álvaro Bessa read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 57th minute of play. Tomás Coimbra received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 58th minute. Álvaro Bessa tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. 67 minutes into the game, Aivados's Tomás Coimbra nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Álvaro Bessa made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 3-0. After 72 minutes, Vasco Assis mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Aivados and the Maiorais FC players grew even worse after the yellow card. Vasco Assis kicked well hit freekick during the 72nd minute of the match. Mário Cabral did some fancy footwork in front of goal and succeeded to deceive the defenders so he could slam the ball in 3-1 to the left of a surprised João Tavares 74 minutes into the match. João Tavares was a little too slow when Mário Cabral got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 78th minute. The score was now 3-2. Maiorais FC's Álvaro Bessa played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Tomás Coimbra in the 83rd minute of play. Gil Araújo fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 84th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Álvaro Bessa having to interfere. An unexpectedly hard shot by Tomás Coimbra in the 86th minute of play forced Maiorais FC's goalkeeper Álvaro Bessa to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Álvaro Bessa showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Tomás Coimbra, who was totally free with the ball in the 87th minute. Maiorais FC's Mário Cabral got a good chance for a goal in the 90th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. An unexpectedly hard shot by André Moniz in the 93rd minute of play forced Aivados's goalkeeper João Tavares to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. João Tavares made an important save on a dangerous shot by Mário Cabral in the 95th minute. With a little luck, Aivados's João Tavares got control of the ball when Mário Cabral tried to sneak it across the goal line. Aivados were really happy, having secured the victory after a very even contest. They thanked the players of Maiorais FC for a fine match.
