Spectators: 32 (Terracing: 25, Seating: 7, VIP seats: 0) The sun was shining, the grass was green and the audience cheered when Miguel Tavares got the match started through his kick off. Miguel Tavares struck a weak shot in the 10th minute. Rui Lisboa didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Fatauncos. After 11 played minutes Narangera got a freekick which was hit by Armindo Porto. If Miguel Tavares had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 13th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. An unexpectedly hard shot by Miguel Tavares in the 15th minute of play forced Narangera's goalkeeper Rui Lisboa to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 20th match minute, Fatauncos was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Emílio Campos to maneuver through the defense. The supporters of Fatauncos booed when Narangera was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 22 match minutes in a wonderful position. Carlos Vaz didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 23rd minute of the match Xavier Coelho shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Rui Lisboa showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. Gaspar Valente received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 26th minute. Domingos Vaz tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Fatauncos's Domingos Vaz proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 28th minute of the match, managed to save Fatauncos from getting a goal against them. In the 31st minute, Jaime Neto fired a really elegant long shot, but Domingos Vaz threw himself and managed to get hold of the ball just in front of the right post. André Moura hit a great freekick 31 minutes into the match. 34 minutes into the game, Emílio Campos was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Fatauncos's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Narangera the free kick. If David Torres had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 35th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After a defensive mix-up in Narangera's zone, Jorge Nunes stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Rui Lisboa came out of the goal and Jorge Nunes tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Miguel Tavares sent away a hard shot on goal in the 38th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. The Narangera players were disheartened as they walked off the pitch after the first half. Fatauncos were winning 0-1.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Gaspar Valente stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. 51 minutes into the match, Fatauncos's goal looked a bit too open when Gaspar Valente came free, but Domingos Vaz reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. 52 minutes into the match, David Torres had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Domingos Vaz. Fatauncos's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that David Torres was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 1-1. In the 60th minute, Miguel Tavares reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of Rui Lisboa. The goal made the score 1-2. When the match had gone on for 64 minutes, Miguel Tavares took a quick shot and it went in 1-3 without a chance for Rui Lisboa to make any attempt to save it. Armindo Porto hit a great freekick 67 minutes into the match. After a defensive mix-up in Narangera's zone, Jorge Nunes stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Rui Lisboa came out of the goal and Jorge Nunes tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. When Cristiano Cardoso fell near the penalty area in the 71st minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Narangera's protests and gave Cristiano Cardoso a yellow card for diving instead. Miguel Tavares sent away a hard shot on goal in the 77th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 81st minute the ball was on its way in behind Fatauncos's goalkeeper Domingos Vaz, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Domingos Vaz made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Gaspar Valente in the 84th minute of play. With a couple of smart ball manuevers David Torres in the 89th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Domingos Vaz saved Fatauncos from getting behind. If Gaspar Valente had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 91st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Domingos Vaz took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from David Torres, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. The referee blew the whistle for a penalty in the 95th minute of the game. One of Narangera:s players had nearly got his shirt torn off by an opponent while getting free in front of Fatauncos:s goal. The goalkeeper, Rui Lisboa, was totally fooled by Fatauncos's Xavier Coelho, who 98 minutes into the game made a penalty shot that went in on the goalkeeper's left side. Fatauncos played a much better game than Narangera and deserved their victory. The Narangera players were clearly disappointed as they left the ground.
