Spectators: 32 (Terracing: 25, Seating: 7, VIP seats: 0) The field was rather wet after several days of rain when Vítor Marques took the kick off in the first half of the match. 3 minutes into the match, Narangera's goal looked a bit too open when Vítor Marques came free, but Rui Lisboa reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After a defensive mix-up in Alcantarilha FC's zone, David Torres stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Eusébio Santarém came out of the goal and David Torres tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. If David Torres had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 7th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Vítor Marques fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 10th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Rui Lisboa having to interfere. If Filipe Moniz had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 13th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. A collision led to Narangera getting a freekick after 14 minutes play. Jaime Neto hit a great ball. Vítor Marques fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 20th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Rui Lisboa having to interfere. When Cristiano Cardoso fell near the penalty area in the 21st minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Narangera's protests and gave Cristiano Cardoso a yellow card for diving instead. The supporters of Alcantarilha FC booed when Narangera was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 22 match minutes in a wonderful position. Cristiano Cardoso didn't get a good kick on the ball. Alcantarilha FC's Eusébio Santarém played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by David Torres in the 31st minute of play. Eusébio Santarém stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of David Torres's shot from short distance in the 32nd minute. In the 35th play minute Fábio Paredes came free and shot an unsuspected shot which went into goal from the right pole behind a surprised Rui Lisboa. 1-0. Gaspar Valente sent away a hard shot on goal in the 39th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Eusébio Santarém took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Gaspar Valente, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Narangera's David Torres got a good chance for a goal in the 45th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Eusébio Santarém made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Gaspar Valente in the 47th minute of play. With a little luck, Narangera's Rui Lisboa got control of the ball when Filipe Moniz tried to sneak it across the goal line. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 1-0 at half-time.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Gaspar Valente to make the kick off. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Filipe Moniz in the 53rd minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Rui Lisboa prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Armindo Porto charged in rather forcefully in the 54th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Armindo Porto the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. A collision led to Narangera getting a freekick after 54 minutes play. Armindo Porto hit a great ball. When Filipe Moniz came up free with the goalie in the 55th minute, the Alcantarilha FC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Filipe Moniz couldn't finish the play. 57 minutes into the match, Vítor Marques notched a goal, 2-0, to the right of Narangera's Rui Lisboa. Rui Lisboa was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Gaspar Valente struck a weak shot in the 60th minute. Eusébio Santarém didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Narangera. After 63 minutes of play Narangera's Cristiano Cardoso was too eager in his attempt to stop his opponent and brought him down. With that he got his second yellow card and was ordered off the ground. In the 64th minute, Cristiano Cardoso hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After some fancy dribbling in the 67th minute, David Torres managed to get in a good position for a shot. Narangera's supporters rose to their feet, but David Torres was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Eusébio Santarém breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. If Armindo Porto had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 70th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Vítor Marques fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 76th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Rui Lisboa having to interfere. After 82 played minutes Narangera got a freekick which was hit by Cândido Leal. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Filipe Moniz in the 84th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Rui Lisboa prevented the ball from getting in the gole. If David Torres had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 85th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Rui Lisboa showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Filipe Moniz in the 87th minute of the match. When Armindo Porto was, once again, overly rough in his play he received his second yellow card and was ordered off the ground. 91 minutes had been played. In the 92nd minute, Armindo Porto hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After having played for 93 minutes, Vítor Marques managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Alcantarilha FC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Vítor Marques was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Narangera's players left the field with heads hung low after losing a match that had been finely balanced throughout.
