António Carvalho fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 11th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without José Faria having to interfere. A very good chance. 17 minutes into the match, Paranhas FC's goal looked a bit too open when Manuel Costa came free, but José Faria reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. With a little luck, Taveiro's Joaquim Carvalho got control of the ball when Cândido Carvalho tried to sneak it across the goal line. Paranhas FC's José Faria played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Manuel Costa in the 22nd minute of play. When Manuel Costa came up free with the goalie in the 24th minute, the Taveiro fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Manuel Costa couldn't finish the play. Nuno Dias lost his temper 26 minutes into the game and shoved another player to the ground. He was immediately shown a red card. 26 minutes into the game, one of Taveiro:s players got tackled near the goal, and the referee blew for a penalty. Cândido Carvalho fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 34th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Joaquim Carvalho having to interfere. If Cândido Carvalho had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 44th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Inácio Santarém recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 46th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 1-0 at half-time.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Manuel Costa to strike the kick off in the second half. If Manuel Costa had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 52nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 55th match minute, Paranhas FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Óscar Lopes to maneuver through the defense. José Faria showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Manuel Costa in the 57th minute of the match. Paranhas FC's José Faria proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 59th minute of the match, managed to save Paranhas FC from getting a goal against them. Gustavo Moutinho hit a great freekick 63 minutes into the match. In the 63rd minute of the match Adolfo Pedroso sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Joaquim Carvalho skillfully saved the ball. Manuel Costa fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 66th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without José Faria having to interfere. In the 69th minute Inácio Santarém shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Joaquim Carvalho saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Cândido Carvalho in the 70th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Joaquim Carvalho saved Taveiro from getting behind. Taveiro's Joaquim Carvalho played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Inácio Santarém in the 72nd minute of play. Cândido Carvalho sent away a hard shot on goal in the 75th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. After some fancy dribbling in the 78th minute, Cândido Carvalho managed to get in a good position for a shot. Paranhas FC's supporters rose to their feet, but Cândido Carvalho was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Joaquim Carvalho breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. If Inácio Santarém had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 79th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 81st minute, Adolfo Pedroso hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Paranhas FC's Inácio Santarém got a good chance for a goal in the 85th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. A collision led to Taveiro getting a freekick after 86 minutes play. Tomás Lisboa hit a great ball. After 90 minutes, Gustavo Moutinho mouthed his way into the referee's book. They cheered their team of the pitch, having watched them win a very even match.
