In the 6thth minute of the game Alberto Leite who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Conlela FC's Augusto Porto was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. The audience was convinced that Paulo Jesus's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Gaspar Morais was relentless in the 10th minute of the game. SC Maios's Gaspar Morais proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 16th minute of the match, managed to save SC Maios from getting a goal against them. Jaime Trindade kicked well hit freekick during the 17th minute of the match. After a rather tough play, SC Maios's Afonso Martins got a free kick in the 18th minute. In the 19th minute, Gaspar Cunha sent off a long shot on goal, but the shot was nowhere near the goal and SC Maios's Gaspar Morais didn't even have to move. Gaspar Morais made an important save on a dangerous shot by Mário Leite in the 21st minute. 21 minutes into the match, Mário Leite dribbled the ball past the defender and swiftly kicked the ball to the left of Gaspar Morais, 1-0. Mário Leite who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 25thth minute tested the skills of Gaspar Morais when he managed to save the team from getting behind. Augusto Porto took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Daniel Amorim, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Mário Leite fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 30th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Gaspar Morais having to interfere. A collision led to SC Maios getting a freekick after 34 minutes play. Jaime Trindade hit a great ball. Gaspar Cunha's shot from long distance in the 34th minute was not bad at all, but SC Maios's Gaspar Morais knew what was happening and pushed the ball into his arms just before it hit the right post. Mário Leite received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 37th minute. Gaspar Morais tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Paulo Jesus sent away a hard shot on goal in the 40th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Augusto Porto showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Daniel Amorim in the 46th minute of the match. Marco Fonseca kicked well hit freekick during the 47th minute of the match. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Paulo Jesus to strike the kick off in the second half. Gaspar Morais stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Paulo Jesus's shot from short distance in the 57th minute. Augusto Porto stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Afonso Martins's shot from short distance in the 62nd minute. Daniel Amorim received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 65th minute. Augusto Porto tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Diamantino Bessa's late challenge caught a SC Maios's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. The supporters of SC Maios booed when Conlela FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 78 match minutes in a wonderful position. Eduardo Pires didn't get a good kick on the ball. With a little luck, Conlela FC's Augusto Porto got control of the ball when Alberto Leite tried to sneak it across the goal line. In the 83rd minute Paulo Jesus shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Gaspar Morais saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 88th minute, Alberto Leite got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. When SC Maios's Daniel Amorim in the 89th minute got a chance for a shot 89th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Conlela FC's goalie prevented a goal. If Daniel Amorim had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 93rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Conlela FC were really happy, having secured the victory after a very even contest. They thanked the players of SC Maios for a fine match.
