Spectators: 33 (Terracing: 26, Seating: 7, VIP seats: 0) Luís Antunes made the kick off and thus started the match. Rui Oliveira struck a weak shot in the 3rd minute. Luís Queirós didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for SC Almarginho. An unexpectedly hard shot by Óscar Faro in the 5th minute of play forced SC Bela's goalkeeper Luís Queirós to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Carlos Assis stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Luís Antunes's shot from short distance in the 9th minute. If Óscar Faro had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 10th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Rui Oliveira's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Luís Queirós read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 12th minute of play. After 12 played minutes SC Bela got a freekick which was hit by Hélder Pinto. Carlos Assis made an important save on a dangerous shot by Paulo Teixeira in the 15th minute. 19 minutes into the match, SC Bela's goal looked a bit too open when Óscar Faro came free, but Luís Queirós reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 20th of the match, Luís Antunes tried to place the ball in the upper right corner, but Carlos Assis got in the way and made a wonderful save. Óscar Faro received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 26th minute. Luís Queirós tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. The audience was convinced that Óscar Faro's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Luís Queirós was relentless in the 27th minute of the game. 30 minutes into the match, SC Almarginho's goalkeeper Carlos Assis had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Luís Antunes. With a little luck, SC Almarginho's Carlos Assis got control of the ball when Paulo Teixeira tried to sneak it across the goal line. Paulo Teixeira sent away a hard shot on goal in the 33rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Carlos Assis made a fantastic save in the 36th minute, when Paulo Teixeira sent off a good shot on target. 37 minutes into the game, André Amorim was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. SC Almarginho's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave SC Bela the free kick. In the 37th match minute, SC Almarginho was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by André Amorim to maneuver through the defense. With a little luck, SC Almarginho's Carlos Assis got control of the ball when Paulo Teixeira tried to sneak it across the goal line. It was beautiful to see SC Almarginho's Nuno Costa in action when he in the 42nd minute dribbled his way through a couple of opponents and the fired away a shot from almost standing still. First the ball seemed to get in, but turned out to be on the outside of the net. A great chance! Rui Oliveira received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 44th minute. Luís Queirós tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Luís Queirós made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Óscar Faro in the 45th minute of play. After the first half the score was level. The break gave the players a chance to catch their breath, whilst the managers went over the tactics with them again.

52 minutes into the match, Rui Pacheco dribbled the ball past the defender and swiftly kicked the ball to the left of Luís Queirós, 0-1. Carlos Assis showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Paulo Teixeira, who was totally free with the ball in the 55th minute. Rui Oliveira sent away a hard shot on goal in the 56th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. When the match had been going on for 59 minutes, SC Almarginho's Nuno Costa got an opportunity to shoot a penalty. He stayed cool and waited for the goalkeeper to move, before he confidently shot the ball into the goal, to the left of Luís Queirós. Luís Queirós made a fantastic save in the 68th minute, when Óscar Faro sent off a good shot on target. When Jaime Soares fell near the penalty area in the 71st minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored SC Bela's protests and gave Jaime Soares a yellow card for diving instead. Jaime Soares hit a great freekick 71 minutes into the match. After 75 minutes SC Bela's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Nuno Costa who took care of the corner kick. 0-3 became the score in the 76th minute when Rui Oliveira elegantly shot the ball into goal just under the crossbar. During the 79th minute of the match André Amorim completely mistimed his tackle and brought down his opponent. The referee gave André Amorim a yellow card, his second in the match, which meant he could no longer take part in the game. After 79 played minutes SC Almarginho got a freekick which was hit by André Amorim. SC Almarginho's players went to the stands to thank the travelling support. The fan's backing had helped spurr the team on to a fine performance that won them the match.
