Spectators: 32 (Terracing: 25, Seating: 7, VIP seats: 0) Tiago Machado started the match with the kick off in front of an excited audience. An unexpectedly hard shot by Tiago Machado in the 5th minute of play forced Avintes FC's goalkeeper Tomás Reis to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 8 minutes into the game, Chumbaria FC's Alberto Freitas nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Tomás Reis made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-1. If Tiago Machado had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 12th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Tiago Machado sent away a hard shot on goal in the 14th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Alberto Freitas sent away a hard shot on goal in the 16th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 19th minute Cristóvão Figueiredo shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Joaquim Branco saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Alexandre Ribeiro's late challenge caught a Avintes FC's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Alexandre Ribeiro helped the player get up and apologised. After a rather tough play, Chumbaria FC's Alexandre Ribeiro got a free kick in the 22nd minute. Cristóvão Figueiredo recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 24th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. An unexpected shot in the 27th minute by Cristóvão Rocha got the crowd on their feet, but to their dismay it went out on the left side. Cristóvão Rocha could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 30th minute of the match, but Joaquim Branco made a huge save. In the 31st minute, Gil Faria hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. When Alexandre Ribeiro was, once again, overly rough in his play he received his second yellow card and was ordered off the ground. 33 minutes had been played. Cristóvão Figueiredo received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 37th minute. Joaquim Branco tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 46th minute the ball was on its way in behind Chumbaria FC's goalkeeper Joaquim Branco, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. The crowd was extremely unhappy with the home team's performance in the first half. They were losing 0-1.

The wind increased when Cristóvão Figueiredo made the kick off in the second half. Cristóvão Figueiredo sent away a hard shot on goal in the 54th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Chumbaria FC's Joaquim Branco played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Cristóvão Figueiredo in the 60th minute of play. With a little luck, Avintes FC's Tomás Reis got control of the ball when Alberto Freitas tried to sneak it across the goal line. Cristóvão Figueiredo recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 65th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Cristóvão Rocha sent away a hard shot on goal in the 68th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. If Alberto Freitas had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 73rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Alberto Freitas got a fine position in front of goal ttaking advantage of the opportunity to rumble in 0-2 in the right cross in the 75th match minute before Tomás Reis had time to react. Afonso Antunes hit a great freekick 78 minutes into the match. Lourenço Pinheiro's late challenge caught a Chumbaria FC's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Lourenço Pinheiro helped the player get up and apologised. After 80 played minutes Avintes FC got a freekick which was hit by Lourenço Pinheiro. After some fancy dribbling in the 89th minute, Cristóvão Rocha managed to get in a good position for a shot. Avintes FC's supporters rose to their feet, but Cristóvão Rocha was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Joaquim Branco breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. 90 minutes into the match, Cristóvão Figueiredo notched a goal, 1-2, to the right of Chumbaria FC's Joaquim Branco. Joaquim Branco was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Cristóvão Rocha sent away a hard shot on goal in the 96th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance.
