Spectators: 33 (Terracing: 26, Seating: 7, VIP seats: 0) Gonçalo Morais made the kick off and thus started the match. If José Pedroso had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 3rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 8th minute the ball was on its way in behind Percinheira's goalkeeper Tomás Maia, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. After some careless play in the Percinheira defense, Gonçalo Morais kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Tomás Maia. The Percinheira fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Tomás Maia should have stopped the shot. In the 18th minute, Abel Alves got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. The crowd rose to their feet as Percinheira's Gustavo Faria slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Eusébio Leão. That made the score 1-1 after 20 minutes of play. Gonçalo Morais recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 24th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Abel Alves fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 30th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Eusébio Leão having to interfere. Abel Alves sent away a hard shot on goal in the 34th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 36th minute, José Pedroso hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the game's 37th minute Valpassos FC's Diamantino Rocha took a hard shot from long distance, a kick which went into the net just to the right of Tomás Maia and thus the score was 1-2. After the first half Valpassos FC were leading 1-2. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Abel Alves to strike the kick off in the second half. In the 54th minute of the match Percinheira got a corner. Valpassos FC's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Filipe Brito ran over to the corner to take the kick. A nice corner shot did that Filipe Brito got away a dangerous shot. Despite this Eusébio Leão quite easily got ahold of the ball to make the save. Valpassos FC's Eusébio Leão played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Jorge Sá in the 56th minute of play. If Jorge Sá had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 59th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Vítor Dantas hit a great freekick 60 minutes into the match. Gonçalo Antunes's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Tomás Maia read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 67th minute of play. Abel Alves recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 72nd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. In the 73rd minute, Henrique Henriques hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After having played for 76 minutes, Jorge Sá managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Percinheira's supporters crossed their fingers, but Jorge Sá was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Gonçalo Antunes fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 78th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Tomás Maia having to interfere. Percinheira's Tomás Maia played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Gonçalo Morais in the 80th minute of play. 1-3 became the score in the 82nd minute when Gonçalo Antunes elegantly shot the ball into goal just under the crossbar. When Gonçalo Antunes came up free with the goalie in the 87th minute, the Valpassos FC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Gonçalo Antunes couldn't finish the play. Gonçalo Antunes fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 89th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Tomás Maia having to interfere. Gonçalo Antunes in the 93rdth minute had a little luck and got a chance for a shot in front of the goal. Without hesitation aimed to the right of Tomás Maia, who managed to lunge to the right direction and made a save. 94 minutes into the match, Percinheira's goal looked a bit too open when Gonçalo Morais came free, but Tomás Maia reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Tomás Maia took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Gonçalo Morais, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. When the final whistle was heard the away supporters stood up and showed their joy. Valpassos FC had managed to secure a win in what was a close match throughout.
