Seating: 8, VIP seats: 0) Jorge Azevedo made the kick off and thus started the match. After 4 played minutes, Antela's Adelino Vale shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Alexandre Santarém came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in Antela reached it. 5 minutes into the match, Martianes's goal looked a bit too open when Miguel Borba came free, but Alexandre Santarém reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. When João Lisboa fell near the penalty area in the 7th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Martianes's protests and gave João Lisboa a yellow card for diving instead. 7 minutes into the game, one of Martianes:s players got tackled near the goal, and the referee blew for a penalty. After some careless play in the Martianes defense, Miguel Borba kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Alexandre Santarém. The Martianes fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Alexandre Santarém should have stopped the shot. Manuel Leite received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 22nd minute. Alexandre Santarém tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Alberto Alves recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 24th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Miguel Borba received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 27th minute. Alexandre Santarém tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 28th match minute, Martianes was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Gil Paiva to maneuver through the defense. Alberto Cruz showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Jorge Azevedo, who was totally free with the ball in the 31st minute. In a very dangerous position, a player in Antela fell when an opponent tried to get the ball from him in the 33rd minute. Penalty! Martianes's Alexandre Santarém played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Manuel Leite in the 39th minute of play. After a rather tough play, Antela's José Vaz got a free kick in the 42nd minute.
When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Manuel Leite made a kick off. 51 minutes into the game, Jorge Lisboa was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Antela's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Martianes the free kick. A collision led to Antela getting a freekick after 51 minutes play. Jorge Lisboa hit a great ball. Alberto Cruz showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Rui Nascimento, who was totally free with the ball in the 57th minute. Alexandre Santarém made a fantastic save in the 58th minute, when Miguel Borba sent off a good shot on target. After 60 played minutes Antela got a freekick which was hit by Viriato Nunes. Alexandre Santarém showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Manuel Leite, who was totally free with the ball in the 64th minute. A collision led to Martianes getting a freekick after 68 minutes play. Hugo Torres hit a great ball. The audience was convinced that Manuel Leite's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Alexandre Santarém was relentless in the 70th minute of the game. Antela's Alberto Cruz played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Jorge Azevedo in the 72nd minute of play. After a rather tough play, Antela's Viriato Nunes got a free kick in the 77th minute. Alberto Cruz showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Rui Nascimento, who was totally free with the ball in the 78th minute. Jorge Azevedo sent away a hard shot on goal in the 89th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. An unexpectedly hard shot by Rui Nascimento in the 93rd minute of play forced Antela's goalkeeper Alberto Cruz to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After a defensive mix-up in Martianes's zone, Manuel Leite stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Alexandre Santarém came out of the goal and Manuel Leite tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. The away crowd were delighted with the way their team had played and cheered loudly when the final whistle sounded. Antela walked away with the win, even though the match was close until the end.
