Spectators: 33 (Terracing: 26, Seating: 7, VIP seats: 0) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Jorge Azevedo started the match with the kick off. Alexandre Santarém didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Gustavo Matias went, in the 3rd minute, to the upper right corner, 0-1 was the resulting score. The audience thought a goal was coming when Rui Nascimento got free with Xavier Delgado in the 10th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. SC Gafanha's Xavier Delgado proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 11th minute of the match, managed to save SC Gafanha from getting a goal against them. Alexandre Santarém took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Luís Lopes, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 16thth minute of the game Gustavo Matias who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Martianes's Alexandre Santarém was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. After some fancy dribbling in the 26th minute, Rui Nascimento managed to get in a good position for a shot. Martianes's supporters rose to their feet, but Rui Nascimento was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Xavier Delgado breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Gustavo Matias in the 37th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Alexandre Santarém saved Martianes from getting behind. In the 39th match minute, Martianes was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Hugo Torres to maneuver through the defense. In the 41st minute Luís Lopes shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Alexandre Santarém saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After a rather tough play, Martianes's Gustavo Viegas got a free kick in the 41st minute. Luís Lopes recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 44th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Luís Lopes made a kick off. After a rather tough play, Martianes's Pedro Andrade got a free kick in the 51st minute. The referee blew the whistle for a penalty in the 56th minute of the game. One of SC Gafanha:s players had nearly got his shirt torn off by an opponent while getting free in front of Martianes:s goal. The referee gave Martianes a penalty, 58 minutes into the game. The penalty shot was made by João Lisboa, who made a well placed shot into the net to the right of SC Gafanha's Xavier Delgado. 1-1. A collision led to SC Gafanha getting a freekick after 63 minutes play. Álvaro Figueiredo hit a great ball. Jorge Azevedo recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 65th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Jorge Azevedo in the 66th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Xavier Delgado prevented the ball from getting in the gole. After a defensive mix-up in Martianes's zone, Luís Lopes stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Alexandre Santarém came out of the goal and Luís Lopes tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. 76 minutes into the match, SC Gafanha's goal looked a bit too open when Jorge Azevedo came free, but Xavier Delgado reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Xavier Delgado took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Rui Nascimento, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 84th minute, Jorge Azevedo ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Xavier Delgado was frozen by the shot and now it was 2-1. In the 89th minute, Álvaro Figueiredo hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. When Gustavo Viegas fell near the penalty area in the 93rd minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Martianes's protests and gave Gustavo Viegas a yellow card for diving instead. If Augusto Lisboa had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 96th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Martianes's supporters were highly satisfied with the result. They cheered their team of the pitch, having watched them win a very even match.
