Spectators: 33 (Terracing: 26, Seating: 7, VIP seats: 0) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Abel Paiva started the match with the kick off. João Lisboa showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Abel Paiva in the 10th minute of the match. Adolfo Monteiro recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 16th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. If Oliveira Assis had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 28th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After 30 minutes, Cristiano Delgado mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the SC Pinelo and the Luilhas FC players grew even worse after the yellow card. If Sérgio Borges had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 33rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Adolfo Monteiro sent away a hard shot on goal in the 35th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Sérgio Borges received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 37th minute. Heitor Guerreiro tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Sérgio Borges fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 44th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Heitor Guerreiro having to interfere. In the 48th minute, Adolfo Monteiro left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Luilhas FC fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-1. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 0-1 lead.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Adolfo Monteiro to make the kick off. SC Pinelo's Heitor Guerreiro played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Adolfo Monteiro in the 55th minute of play. 0-2 became the score in the 57th minute when Adolfo Monteiro elegantly shot the ball into goal just under the crossbar. After some careless play in the Luilhas FC defense, Oliveira Assis kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of João Lisboa. The Luilhas FC fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that João Lisboa should have stopped the shot. If Oliveira Assis had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 66th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After a defensive mix-up in Luilhas FC's zone, Oliveira Assis stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. João Lisboa came out of the goal and Oliveira Assis tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. In the 70th match minute, Luilhas FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Rui Figueiredo to maneuver through the defense. Nuno Gaspar hit a great freekick 72 minutes into the match. After 73 played minutes SC Pinelo got a freekick which was hit by Gil Viana. Gil Viana kicked well hit freekick during the 79th minute of the match. When Luilhas FC's Adolfo Monteiro in the 83rd minute got a chance for a shot 83rd didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye SC Pinelo's goalie prevented a goal. Sérgio Borges could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 85th minute of the match, but Heitor Guerreiro made a huge save. After a defensive mix-up in SC Pinelo's zone, Sérgio Borges stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Heitor Guerreiro came out of the goal and Sérgio Borges tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Adolfo Monteiro in the 90th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Heitor Guerreiro prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Gil Viana kicked well hit freekick during the 90th minute of the match.
