Spectators: 32 (Terracing: 25, Seating: 7, VIP seats: 0) The sun was shining, the grass was green and the audience cheered when Augusto Guerreiro got the match started through his kick off. Hugo Barbosa received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 7th minute. Manuel Matos tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Hugo Barbosa recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 9th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. 12 minutes into the match, Alvaiazere's goal looked a bit too open when Augusto Guerreiro came free, but Daniel Gueifão reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. If Vasco Araújo had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 15th minute. After a defensive mix-up in Alvaiazere's zone, Augusto Guerreiro stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Daniel Gueifão came out of the goal and Augusto Guerreiro tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. The crowd rose to their feet as Fernando Reis kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Manuel Matos. That made the score 1-0 in the 38 minute of play. SC Lagarelhos's Manuel Matos played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Albertino Carneiro in the 47th minute of play. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 1-0 at half-time.

The wind increased when Albertino Carneiro made the kick off in the second half. 52 minutes into the game, Fernando Reis was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Alvaiazere's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave SC Lagarelhos the free kick. After a rather tough play, Alvaiazere's Fernando Reis got a free kick in the 53rd minute. Vasco Araújo might have been able to make a better finish in the 54th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Daniel Gueifão. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Vasco Araújo ran back to his position shaking his head. SC Lagarelhos's Manuel Matos played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Albertino Carneiro in the 57th minute of play. A collision led to Alvaiazere getting a freekick after 60 minutes play. Gabriel Barros hit a great ball. After having played for 66 minutes, Augusto Guerreiro managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. SC Lagarelhos's supporters crossed their fingers, but Augusto Guerreiro was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Daniel Gueifão made an important save on a dangerous shot by Vasco Araújo in the 68th minute. Hugo Barbosa sent away a hard shot on goal in the 76th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 81st minute, Cristiano Moreira hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. 84 minutes into the match, Vasco Araújo had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Daniel Gueifão. Alvaiazere's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Vasco Araújo was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 1-2. If Augusto Guerreiro had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 89th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Augusto Guerreiro fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 92nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Daniel Gueifão having to interfere. The SC Lagarelhos players were relieved to hear the final whistle blow to end the match. The away crowd was happy to see their team win after a very tight game.
