The player immediately received a yellow card. Manuel Araújo hit a great freekick 2 minutes into the match. After 5 played minutes Quintanilha got a freekick which was hit by Bruno Neves. With a little luck, Quintanilha's António Dias got control of the ball when André Costa tried to sneak it across the goal line. They had fought hard, but couldn't break down the home team's defense. The match ended in a win for Goaes.
