Paulo Leite made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Tomás Lisboa in the 39th minute of play. After having played for 40 minutes, Duarte Pereira managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Senra's supporters crossed their fingers, but Duarte Pereira was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. If Alfredo Macedo had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 43rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Paulo Leite showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Tomás Lisboa in the 56th minute of the match. Duarte Pereira sent away a hard shot on goal in the 66th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Luís Fonseca kicked well hit freekick during the 67th minute of the match. If Alfredo Macedo had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 72nd minute. In the 75thth minute of the game Duarte Pereira who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but SC Picaranha's Jacinto Ferro was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. 82 minutes into the match, Senra's goal looked a bit too open when Tomás Lisboa came free, but Paulo Leite reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. An unexpectedly hard shot by Tomás Lisboa in the 84th minute of play forced Senra's goalkeeper Paulo Leite to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The Senra fans cheered their team off the field, for while SC Picaranha had put up a good fight, they were unable to come out of the game with any points to show for their effort.
