Spectators: 34 (Terracing: 26, Seating: 8, VIP seats: 0) It was fairly windy and cold on the field when Rui Veiga kicked off to start the match. Besteiro's Daniel Brito played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Rui Veiga in the 4th minute of play. When Rui Veiga came up free with the goalie in the 8th minute, the Carrascal fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Rui Veiga couldn't finish the play. Besteiro's Pedro Domingues was standing unmarked in front of the goal when he, in the 10th play minute, got the ball and easily drilled it into the goal. With a little luck, Carrascal's Eusébio Aguiar got control of the ball when Pedro Domingues tried to sneak it across the goal line. Rui Veiga sent away a hard shot on goal in the 17th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Vítor Fontes fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 22nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Daniel Brito having to interfere. Vítor Fontes received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 24th minute. Daniel Brito tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Besteiro's Daniel Brito played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Rui Veiga in the 25th minute of play. After 26 minutes, João Cardoso mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Besteiro and the Carrascal players grew even worse after the yellow card. After 26 played minutes Besteiro got a freekick which was hit by João Cardoso. Pedro Branco hit a great freekick 33 minutes into the match. Daniel Nogueira recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 36th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. After having played for 44 minutes, Rui Veiga managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Carrascal's supporters crossed their fingers, but Rui Veiga was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 2-0.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Daniel Nogueira made a kick off. Daniel Brito made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Rui Veiga in the 52nd minute of play. Daniel Brito made an important save on a dangerous shot by Vítor Fontes in the 54th minute. When the match had gone on for 55 minutes, Rui Veiga took a quick shot and it went in 2-1 without a chance for Daniel Brito to make any attempt to save it. Daniel Brito took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Rui Veiga, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 64th minute Daniel Nogueira shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Eusébio Aguiar saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After 64 played minutes Carrascal got a freekick which was hit by Vítor Torres. Pedro Domingues fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 69th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Eusébio Aguiar having to interfere. In the 71st minute Daniel Nogueira shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Eusébio Aguiar saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. An unexpectedly hard shot by Rui Veiga in the 73rd minute of play forced Besteiro's goalkeeper Daniel Brito to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 78th minute Daniel Nogueira shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Eusébio Aguiar saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Pedro Domingues recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 90th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. After some careless play in the Carrascal defense, Daniel Nogueira kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Eusébio Aguiar. The Carrascal fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Eusébio Aguiar should have stopped the shot. Carrascal's players left the field with heads hung low after losing a match that had been finely balanced throughout.
