SC Sarzedo's Adolfo Coelho got a good chance for a goal in the 10th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. The audience was convinced that Alexandre Matos's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Eusébio Matos was relentless in the 13th minute of the game. When Alexandre Matos came up free with the goalie in the 14th minute, the Comendadeira FC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Alexandre Matos couldn't finish the play. Adolfo Coelho struck a weak shot in the 19th minute. Bruno Lisboa didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for SC Sarzedo. If Alexandre Matos had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 22nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 27 minutes into the game, João Fontes was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Comendadeira FC's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave SC Sarzedo the free kick. João Fontes hit a great freekick 27 minutes into the match. After 31 minutes, Jaime Miranda made it 1-0 with a short kick to the right side. Comendadeira FC's Bruno Lisboa tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. After 38 minutes of play Comendadeira FC's Heitor Henriques was too eager in his attempt to stop his opponent and brought him down. With that he got his second yellow card and was ordered off the ground. After 39 played minutes Comendadeira FC got a freekick which was hit by Heitor Henriques. In the 40th minute Adolfo Coelho shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Bruno Lisboa saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. If Jaime Miranda had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 41st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The crowd rose to their feet as SC Sarzedo's Adolfo Coelho slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Bruno Lisboa. That made the score 2-0 after 45 minutes of play.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Alexandre Matos was the one to do the kick off. An unexpectedly hard shot by Adolfo Coelho in the 52nd minute of play forced Comendadeira FC's goalkeeper Bruno Lisboa to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Alexandre Matos fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 55th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Eusébio Matos having to interfere. In the 57th minute Jaime Miranda shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Bruno Lisboa saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The audience thought a goal was coming when Alexandre Matos got free with Eusébio Matos in the 63rd minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Jaime Miranda took the ball and in the 65 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Bruno Lisboa. Bruno Lisboa dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 3-0. Eusébio Matos made a fantastic save in the 69th minute, when Alexandre Matos sent off a good shot on target. Carlos Morais kicked well hit freekick during the 69th minute of the match. The audience thought a goal was coming when Alexandre Matos got free with Eusébio Matos in the 71st minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. A hard shot 73 in the game by Alexandre Matos from a close distance when the talented Eusébio Matos managed to make a qualified save. SC Sarzedo's players were relieved. In a very dangerous position, a player in Comendadeira FC fell when an opponent tried to get the ball from him in the 79th minute. Penalty! Bruno Lisboa showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Adolfo Coelho, who was totally free with the ball in the 85th minute. An unexpectedly hard shot by Jaime Miranda in the 88th minute of play forced Comendadeira FC's goalkeeper Bruno Lisboa to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Humberto Garcia kicked well hit freekick during the 96th minute of the match. After having played for 97 minutes, Jaime Miranda managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. SC Sarzedo's supporters crossed their fingers, but Jaime Miranda was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. SC Sarzedo were really happy, having secured the victory after a very even contest. They thanked the players of Comendadeira FC for a fine match.
