Seating: 7, VIP seats: 0) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Nuno Faria started the match with the kick off. 9 minutes into the game, Augusto Antunes cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 1-0. Gaspar Machado was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Nuno Faria fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 12th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Gaspar Machado having to interfere. Augusto Antunes received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 15th minute. Gaspar Machado tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. SC Nora's Gaspar Machado played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Nuno Faria in the 18th minute of play. With his leg Gaspar Machado managed to avoid a goal in the 20thth minute, when Cazevel's Augusto Antunes fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. In the 30th minute, Manuel Vaz ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Armando Ferreira was frozen by the shot and now it was 1-1. Júlio Moutinho received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 33rd minute. Armando Ferreira tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 36thth minute of the game Júlio Moutinho who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Cazevel's Armando Ferreira was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Armando Ferreira took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from David Moura, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. The first half was very even, with the score at 1-1 when the whistle went for half-time. The players welcomed the break and quickly retired to the dressing rooms.
Gaspar Machado showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Augusto Antunes, who was totally free with the ball in the 52nd minute. After a defensive mix-up in SC Nora's zone, Augusto Antunes stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Gaspar Machado came out of the goal and Augusto Antunes tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. After 56 minutes, Júlio Moutinho made it 1-2 with a short kick to the right side. Cazevel's Armando Ferreira tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. Júlio Moutinho received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 67th minute. Armando Ferreira tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Armando Ferreira made an important save on a dangerous shot by David Moura in the 69th minute. When Augusto Antunes came up free with the goalie in the 70th minute, the Cazevel fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Augusto Antunes couldn't finish the play. The supporters of Cazevel booed when SC Nora was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 71 match minutes in a wonderful position. Amílcar Matos didn't get a good kick on the ball. After a rather tough play, Cazevel's Alfredo Baptista got a free kick in the 78th minute. After a rather tough play, Cazevel's Sérgio Porto got a free kick in the 85th minute. Armando Ferreira made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Júlio Moutinho in the 93rd minute of play. Jeers came from both ends of the stadium when the final whistle went. Neither team had looked impressive and the draw seeemd a fair result.
