Spectators: 32 (Terracing: 25, Seating: 7, VIP seats: 0) The field was rather wet after several days of rain when Alberto Santarém took the kick off in the first half of the match. After some fancy dribbling in the 9th minute, Emílio Garcia managed to get in a good position for a shot. Carragozela FC's supporters rose to their feet, but Emílio Garcia was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. António Ferreira breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Daniel Cardoso received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 15th minute. Carlos Trindade tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. When Jorge Coimbra fell near the penalty area in the 18th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Carragozela FC's protests and gave Jorge Coimbra a yellow card for diving instead. In the 18th match minute, Carragozela FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Jorge Coimbra to maneuver through the defense. Emílio Garcia sent away a hard shot on goal in the 23rd minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Nuno Trindade fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 25th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without António Ferreira having to interfere. Carlos Trindade made a fantastic save in the 26th minute, when Daniel Cardoso sent off a good shot on target. During the 27th minute of the match Jorge Coimbra completely mistimed his tackle and brought down his opponent. The referee gave Jorge Coimbra a yellow card, his second in the match, which meant he could no longer take part in the game. The supporters of Banhos FC booed when Carragozela FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 28 match minutes in a wonderful position. Jorge Coimbra didn't get a good kick on the ball. When the match clock showed 31 minutes, the score became 0-1 when Emílio Garcia sped through Banhos FC's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of António Ferreira. In the 35th minute Emílio Garcia shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but António Ferreira saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. An unexpected shot in the 37th minute by Daniel Cardoso got the crowd on their feet, but to their dismay it went out on the left side. The crowd rose to their feet as Alberto Santarém kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Carlos Trindade. That made the score 1-1 in the 39 minute of play.

Emílio Garcia might have been able to make a better finish in the 53rd minute when he tried to place a hard shot over António Ferreira. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Emílio Garcia ran back to his position shaking his head. Alberto Santarém sent away a hard shot on goal in the 56th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Carlos Trindade showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Alberto Santarém, who was totally free with the ball in the 58th minute. If Alberto Santarém had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 60th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After a defensive mix-up in Carragozela FC's zone, Alberto Santarém stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Carlos Trindade came out of the goal and Alberto Santarém tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. If Daniel Cardoso had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 64th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Nuno Trindade kicked well hit freekick during the 65th minute of the match. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Alberto Santarém in the 67th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Carlos Trindade prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Carlos Trindade made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Daniel Cardoso in the 68th minute of play. If Daniel Cardoso had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 75th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Carlos Trindade took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Alberto Santarém, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 80th minute Alberto Santarém shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Carlos Trindade saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Emílio Garcia took the ball and in the 91 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised António Ferreira. António Ferreira dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 1-2. The referee blew the final whistle, and the away crowd roared, having watched Carragozela FC eke out a victory against a very well matched opponent.
