Spectators: 32 (Terracing: 25, Seating: 7, VIP seats: 0) SC Franca's Gabriel Moutinho started the match with a crisp pass. The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. Simão Porto took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 5th minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Eusébio Assunção. SC Franca's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. The audience thought a goal was coming when Sandro Leite got free with António Ferreira in the 7th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Sandro Leite received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 8th minute. António Ferreira tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Gabriel Moutinho fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 10th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without António Ferreira having to interfere. In the 13th minute, Alberto Santarém hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After a defensive mix-up in Banhos FC's zone, Gabriel Moutinho stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. António Ferreira came out of the goal and Gabriel Moutinho tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. The supporters of SC Franca booed when Banhos FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 17 match minutes in a wonderful position. Joaquim Guarda didn't get a good kick on the ball. If Gabriel Moutinho had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 29th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Eusébio Assunção showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Daniel Cardoso in the 34th minute of the match. Eusébio Assunção didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Alberto Santarém went, in the 36th minute, to the upper right corner, 0-1 was the resulting score. After 40 played minutes Banhos FC got a freekick which was hit by Alexandre Miranda. Daniel Cardoso sent away a hard shot on goal in the 43rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After 45 minutes of play, Banhos FC's Alexandre Miranda made it 0-2 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Eusébio Assunção was left in no man's land by his defense there! Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 0-2 lead.

An unexpectedly hard shot by Daniel Cardoso in the 56th minute of play forced SC Franca's goalkeeper Eusébio Assunção to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. If Alberto Santarém had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 59th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After a rather tough play, SC Franca's Álvaro Coimbra got a free kick in the 67th minute. After a defensive mix-up in SC Franca's zone, Daniel Cardoso stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. In the 82nd minute, Gabriel Moutinho got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Banhos FC's Alexandre Miranda got a good chance for a goal in the 88th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. When the match had gone on for 91 minutes, Alberto Santarém took a quick shot and it went in 2-4 without a chance for Eusébio Assunção to make any attempt to save it. When Simão Porto fell near the penalty area in the 94th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Banhos FC's protests and gave Simão Porto a yellow card for diving instead. After 94 played minutes Banhos FC got a freekick which was hit by Simão Porto. After 96 played minutes Banhos FC got a freekick which was hit by Daniel Coelho. Banhos FC's supporters were very happy and cheered loudly because their team had won after a very close match.
